Interesting. I guess if Adam comes up one of our current centers would either have to switch positions or sit. Teddy has been playing CoHo, Leino, Girgs, and CodyMac down the middle. He likes CoHo, Girgs, and CodyMac (as a 4th line guy). So the only guy who seems vulnerable is Leino.

Well, if Zadorov is leaving too, that means we'll see McNabb (in addition to, presumably, Luker and Kaleta), innit?

 

But I guess Gus is staying -- which kinda makes sense, at least relative to the other 4, as he's already had a full year in the A.

I think kaleta is one of the fastest skaters on the team

 

there was a day when the only player on the team faster than kaleta was afinogenov. tropp's hands do appear better than kaleta's, but no way on earth does the guy have top-6 upside. unless, of course, you're among the worst teams in the league. so, yeah - i take your point.

Did I read somewhere that there was talk of trading Grigs to a different junior team? From what I understand, the WHL or OHL would be better for rounding him out rather than the QMJHL.

 

EDIT: Hockey Hotline is talking about this now. The QMJHL team (I can't remember the name) already has two non-North American players, so they have to trade/"waive" one of the players or Grigs. Maybe London will take him so he can hang with Zadorov. :)
