Rox11 Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 I would love to be able to say THREE IN A ROW! GO BUFFALO!
LGR4GM Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 If we win one today that's three in a row. That's what they call a winning streak. It has happened before. This is a tougher game because we obviously will have a little dip in the emotions. The leafs still have three injured centers so let us hope we can exploit that weakness and continue working hard. Let's go Buffalo.
nfreeman Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 Will it be Enroth? I'm interested to see what Nolan decides.
themaze2332 Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 It is a wonderful feeling to be excited again for game night...I have had some pretty lackluster emotions as of late regarding the Sabres. I have been giddy since everything has happened with the team this week and last night's game was invigorating! I am just looking forward to continued, sincere effort with each player hustling on every play. As stated in previous threads, these changes have provided Buffalo with a fresh, breath of hope...and I am breathing in as deep as I can! I agree with LGR...I think we will have a dip in emotions, so I predict a slower game by our boys. Hopefully, smart and sound hockey will compensate for that. I am thinking it will be another low scoring game, but Jhonas will come up just as big as Miller tonight. Let's go Buff-a-lo.
papazoid Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 Will it be Enroth? I'm interested to see what Nolan decides. miller is hot.....ride em. I wouldn't play enroth until the nov 30th road game at NJ.
deluca67 Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 This GDT should be merged with the 11.15 GTD to keep the momentum going. A new era is a time to try new things.
darksabre Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 This GDT should be merged with the 11.15 GTD to keep the momentum going. A new era is a time to try new things. Kinky. Will it be Enroth? I'm interested to see what Nolan decides. If he wants to instill confidence across the board he plays Enroth.
Stoner Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 Will it be Enroth? I'm interested to see what Nolan decides. Very interesting. If Ted assumes Miller is gone soon, then he'll probably want to establish the same kind of rapport with Enroth that Rolston did.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 The way Miller played last night, Miller plays tonight.
NowDoYouBelieve Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 Everything seems new. The team is 1-0-0 and only upper management is 5-15-1 for allowing that abortion of a staff an entire quarter season. I don't even harbor ill will toward Stafford. :D That said, it's still a team without much scoring and without distributing centers, so the early trend of 1 and 2 goal games may continue. But there was more compete in yesterday's game than the first 20 combined.
spndnchz Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 Waking up after a win is sooooooo much better. Although the head hurts just as much lol. And then able to watch again. Let me rephrase that. And then WANTING to watch again tonight.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 Nothing more satisfying than being able to torment leaves fans after a win.... I'd like to keep that trend going!!!!
26CornerBlitz Posted November 16, 2013 Author Report Posted November 16, 2013 @mirtle Leafs give up Blacker and two 2014 picks for Peter Holland and Brad Staubitz. Looking for some forward depth here - Holland can play centre. @coreypronman Peter Holland was my #9 ANA prospect in the summer. Write up here: http://www.puckprosp...rticleid=1583 … @TSNBobMcKenzie I would imagine Holland, a highly-skilled centre, will get a good chance to show what he has for injury-riddled TOR. @BuffNewsVogl Toronto acquires former first-round pick Peter Holland, and the center will play tonight against the Sabres. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=106825 …
LGR4GM Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 Anaheim Ducks @AnaheimDucks The #NHLDucks have acquired defenseman Jesse Blacker and two 2014 draft picks from Toronto in exchange for Peter Holland and Brad Staubitz. Not sure if this would impact the game tonight but it has happened. Sounds like Holland will join the Leafs lineup tonight.
darksabre Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 I want the ACC to be the angriest it's ever been tonight. I want some Rob Ray Tie Domi level action. Beat their faces in.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 16, 2013 Author Report Posted November 16, 2013 Ville Leino....Tick....Tick....Tick
dudacek Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 Take another look at Nolan's lines. Could you get any more of a traditional four-line set-up with this group of players? Hockey isn't that complicated. Teddy gets that.
Sabres Fan in NS Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 Take another look at Nolan's lines. Could you get any more of a traditional four-line set-up with this group of players? Hockey isn't that complicated. Teddy gets that. Ted Nolan hockey. It will work even with this motley crew. Although, I want Grigorenko in there somewhere, sometime soon.
TrueBlueGED Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 Ted Nolan hockey. It will work even with this motley crew. Although, I want Grigorenko in there somewhere, sometime soon. I know some are optimistic that Nolan is the type of coach Grigs needs. I remain unconvinced. What we've seen from Grigs is basically the antithesis of a Nolan player.

26CornerBlitz Posted November 16, 2013 Author Report Posted November 16, 2013 Looks like the same lineup based on this: @BuffaloSabres Optional skate for the #Sabres. Larsson, Grigorenko, Zadorov, Weber and Enroth on the ice with assistant coaches.
millbank Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 I am so disappointed , how I wished I could come post again and talk a Leaf win . I am reading now the bravado of those Sabres coming into the center of the universe and beating Gods team now, outrage I say, outrage....
