I PROMISE 3 of the 5 will be involved in a fight...not for the sake of fighting, but to start this thing out right. Foligno, Ott, Weber, McCormick, Scott.

 

Look for a surprise or 2 as well. Stafford, Myers....

 

I put the over/under on Sabres fights at 3 1/2.

 

The Vegas odds are Toronto -135 / Buffalo +115. It would have been -175/+155.

 

It's time to put the women and children to sleep, and let the men do their thing.....

 

F the Leafs....

 

F the pussified bunker mentality and cronyism that has marred all things Sabres for much too long...

Am I the only Sabres fan going to the game? Seems like everyone sold to Leafs fans.

That's why it was a good PR move to do this before this game. If they did it next week, it would look like a total give-in to the fans and after being embarrassed. Now they sort of look in control.

How can ANYONE not like Ted Nolan? We've seen countless coaches put on their public faces as part of a show, but he comes across as the genuine article. Gotta think a player is gonna like playing for a guy like that. Well, at least a player who's passionate about the game. And those who aren't won't be here long, anyway.

The sun is out. Darcy's statue has been toppled. He's hanging from a lamp post down by the docks. Rolston is in South America. People are coming outside, hugging their neighbors, exchanging tales of survival. Is this what it feels like in Third World countries when a dictator is ousted?

Stafford also dropped the gloves game #1 of a season against Philly when all the scuttlebutt was to be hard to play against or yadda yadda.

 

Drew is probably a little too far along for complete salvage, but he does have some daddy issues that might be soothed by Nolan. That's why he is my wildcard tonight to get into it. If John Scott goes after Kessel, that is BS. If Drew Stafford does, it's a fair match.

First time this year I am excited about watching the game!!

 

This makes two of us! I was a big Nolan Fan when he was here the first time and thought he shouldn't have been let go. I know he doesn't have much to work with but I want these guys to play hard. They haven't done that all season. It's okay if u lose but put forth the effort.

Its most of those guys when i first got to know NHL, that made me support the sabres :D
