@sizzlemeister I can't drum up the .0001% level of interest in your comments necessary for me to keep reading them. Utter stupidity.

What'd you say that caused him to reply that way?

Good. I liked him but prefer a younger guy. He works well in Montreal I think because he's already there and involved in the operations.

+1

I wouldn't have hated Dudley coming back but he's not really what I want. Find someone young with some new ideas.

Well, in the spirit of the recent posts of this thread, I said something like "Oh no! No one wants to work for the Sabres! Buffalo is in trouble..." which was preceded by my cut and paste of "Paul Hamilton, stirring the pot, making it sound like no one wants to come work for the Sabres."

You've never been sexier to me.

Hahaha. Well done sir!

Sounds like Dudley was happy and stayed for money. Good for him have fun. I kinda wanna go crazy and grab one of these unknown young guys... see what they got. Fenton, Botterill, and Benning are alll still interesting.

Not surprising, Sabres said they were looking for someone long term, he hasn't been able to stay in one place very long and it seems like he has only been able to build the footings of the foundation to a winning team and is never around long enough to see it through.

Wouldn't have hated him being here, would have been better to see him as part of a tandem/group though, but theres no way he was leaving Montreal as the assistant to take the same position here. Oh Well, theres others out there that will be huge improvements over the last guy, but the bar has been set pretty low............

@DarrenDreger

Rick Dudley agrees to more lucrative deal to stay with Canadiens after Sabres approach Mtl for permission to talk to Duds re: GM job. #TSN

Nice to see we could get him a pay raise.

That's awesome, you at least got .00001%. You're clearly in his head.

You should follow me. I'm not terribly active on Twitter, but when I am, I type in gems like this:

@WGR550 @schopptalk FWIW, the noise caused by your transmitter outage sounds more interesting than "BORING FOOTBALL MONDAYS"...

And yet he was interested enough to insult you.

Surprised he took time away from his hour of jersey talk today.

Rick Dudley addresses the media in Buffalo to comment on his contract extension: RAW: Rick Dudley

Bill Hoppe: Rick Dudley could’ve spoken to Sabres about GM job, instead chose to stay with Canadiens

The Sabres wanted to talk to Rick Dudley about their vacant general manager job. But before they could interview him, the Montreal Canadiens wanted a word with their assistant GM.

While the Habs would let Dudley talk to the Sabres, a team he played and coached with, they wanted to keep him.

To Dudley, who lives in Lewiston, the decision was a no-brainer. He signed a contract extension with, according to reports, a healthy pay raise.
