Given the lack of effort can Rolston and/or Regier survive the year? I could see if the Sabres were just not good enough but played hard, but they're just not good enough and don't give any effort most of the time as a whole. Any other organization RR would be gone I would think. Of course this is the Sabres and they are just not a normal organization.

Melrose (NHL Network) is hammering the effort level of the Sabres tonight. He is right. The Ducks are better, but the Sabres aren't playing hard.

 

We all knew they weren't going to play three high tempo games in a row.

The Sabres, being inexperienced, are playing down to the tempo the Ducks have established, not realizing that the Ducks are doing that so they can ratchet up the tempo when it suits them, just like they did on that last goal.

 

The fact that they fall for it is all on Rolston's head: the coaching staff should have the boys prepared, and have a game plan that they demand the team sticks to. This Sabres group does better with a medium fast tempo, not the slow tempo the Ducks have set. The Sabres need to force the tempo to their advantage.

Thank God I didn't waste time and money going to So Cal to watch this garbage! Fire Rolstons and bring back Ted Nolan

im in Vegas and was just thinking the same thing. Horrible.

I didn't want to pay to suffer, so I decided this would be the year I stay home.

 

I have been alyernating between LA and Anahiem for years now.

 

However, the last couple of years, I have been going to Anahiem because the LA fans act like pricks.

I'm in Vegas to but didn't want to waste money with this crap team. Just waiting for the day Regier is shown the door. I just don't see it happening anytime soon!

So, I watched the game in a bar with no sound and left when it became 3-1. Up until then I thought they had actually been the better team or at least as good as the Ducks 5 on 5. Did their effort go down after that?

He should be in Rochester getting tons of ice time and playing in all situations. I know we want to see these kids in the lineup but I would rather these guys develop rather than get stuck losing constantly.

 

I'm calling Celino & Barnes... watching this team is hurting my eyes...

Its funny you mention Celino & Barnes.

 

I heard a report today that a guy over seas sued his wife for producing ugly children, and won.

 

The back story was, that his wife hid the fact that she had a bunch of plastic surgery before they got married.

 

Just thought you might want to know that very important piece of international news.

This has always been the case in my mind. Rushing 18 and 19 year old kids into the league only to watch them be completely overwhelmed is, in my opinion, not the best way to go about developing them.
