Sabres Fan in NS Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 OK, broken record time. No Grigorenko, no Zadorov ... :censored: !! I don't think that Myers big butt will save us this time.
LGR4GM Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 O sweet I see Zadorov is going to get the chance to play 20minutes in all situations thats good to see. Glad Grigorenko after a few good games by him is getting back on that 3rd line, they really had some chemistry starting there. Should be fun to watch those two tonight even if I think we will lose to LA... wait a second... <_<

CallawaySabres Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 All I want is the effort we saw in San Jose, that's literally all I want (oh yea, get the kids back in the lineup please, please)!
Derrico Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 I say that every west coast game should start at 7pm local time, not 730. I don't give a ###### about their local fans. Why can't the west coast teams follow the lead of the rest of the country and cater to the east coast??
LGR4GM Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Matt Moulson and Zemgus Girgensons are the only 2 Sabres without a negative +/- rating... suffering sucks.

darksabre Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 So do the Sabres come out flat tonight after working the hardest they ever have on Tuesday, or do we see the same energy game again?
TrueBlueGED Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 So do the Sabres come out flat tonight after working the hardest they ever have on Tuesday, or do we see the same energy game again? No way can they (or any other team for that matter) play with that energy on a consistent basis, so I'm going with flat.
nobody Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Matt Moulson and Zemgus Girgensons are the only 2 Sabres without a negative +/- rating... suffering sucks. Give Moulson a few more games with the Sabres to get in line with his teammates.
Iron Crotch Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Give Moulson a few more games with the Sabres to get in line with his teammates. Moulson has 6 points in 4 games with the Sabres. We can't have that kind of production. Someone needs to tell him to knock it off!
... Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 OK, broken record time. No Grigorenko, no Zadorov ... :censored: !! Uhm...what the hell? I guess I'm not sure who you pull after the last game as a lot of players had picked up their games...let me consult the roster... Leino, Stafford, and, broken record time for me: Hodgson. Yes, Hodgson scored the SO goal, weeeeee. But the guy doesn't even hit, at least Grigs hits. Tallinder. Tallinder, although scoring two goals in two games, still takes stupid penalties. I don't know. Him or McBain. McBain I'm on the fence about. Sometimes he looks good, and his shot is a monster. I guess there is no reason to sit him, or, there are less reasons to sit him over Tallinder. The defense on this team is actually pretty solid with some depth. If they had support from the forwards, and I'm not talking about just defensive support, but the kind of "support" that comes with puck possession within the offensive zone, I bet they'd look a lot better.

I would like to see Grigs get top line minutes for a game to see what he does but I wouldn't bench Hodgson.
dEnnis the Menace Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 I think I may stay up for this one. Only stayed up for the first two periods against SJ. Would really like to see McBain sit for Zadorov, unless he's being showcased. I enjoyed seeing Foligno admit to his mistakes against the Ducks, only to come back and correct them against SJ.
dudacek Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Rolston has pitched the kids sitting out as part of the learning experience, rather than punishment. It would follow then that it would be The Russians turn to be back in the lineup. I doubt it though.

I'm all for having him practise with the team like they did earlier in the year and then play him a few games up here. But having him sit out again is getting discouraging. The kid has to play. I still dont' know if it's better for his development playing up here or down in London but if he can't crack the lineup here send him down. He's got some great experience and hopefully confidence after playing on the big club, time to move on and wait for him next year.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 7, 2013 Author Report Posted November 7, 2013 This might actually improve their passing: @BuffNewsVogl The Sabres are trying to start their morning skate in Staples Center, but the lights are off in the building.
LGR4GM Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 John Vogl @BuffNewsVogl 59s Looks like Sabres will go with the same lineup as last game, which means Mikhail Grigorenko and Nikita Zadorov will sit. So much again for 20minutes a night in all situations.

nobody Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Lazy Russians - always sitting. If they were North American they would stand.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Who honestly expects the Sabres to pull out a performance like they did against san jose?? Id be pretty shocked if they did.....Im just not going to count on it.
