Sharks, Kings, and Ducks on the road upcoming!

I was getting ready to see Buffalo in Anaheim and Los Angeles but I would much rather save my money than watch this years squad. If I were Buffalo I would hire many more scouts in addition to Cunneyworth.

They have more scouts than any team in the league.

Rolston has this team playing too tight. Too much stick handling. Passing still sucks Erhoff can't hit the net. Ducks showed what real speed is all about. Pathetic. Time to sit Stafford and Leino. D not so bad, forwards need to support better and be able tohe go up and down the ice.

I say make them do wind sprints till they puke.

Ehrhoff.

kinda like every goalie in the butterfly, duh!

If you take into account his Smurf three apple's high deal he has going on, YES he leaves even more net up top to shoot at.

Yeah I was at the Anaheim game. After seeing tonights game I've decided not to go this year.

Yeah I don't think I'm going to either game either. Not worth the hassle of getting down to Staples or the Pond.

So tonight we learned the team can skate hard, forecheck well and push the pace.

But when they do it, they aren't able to sustain that pace without breaking down.

Another mark of a bad team, but I'd rather see them skate than be passive.

They need to because they can't afford to miss on any of these 1st and 2nd rounders!

He needs to shoot until he can hit the net.

Just like Paul Cyr. Guy had the hardest shot in the league and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn!!

Next game vs Sharks. San Jose already has a W in the column and cold beers in the fridge. Jesus Christ this team is a total asstard train wreck.

Ehrhoff.

...was soft on the boards behind Enroth. That dude has really lost his way lately.

Darcy prefers soft players.

Stafford. Holy crap, he's behind the Duck's net, feeds Leino, and what does he do? He floats off to the wing AWAY from the net. No, no, no, Stafford, from there, you're supposed to go IN FRONT OF THE NET and raise a little hell. Holy sh*t, I can't believe I saw that - I scared my family yelling at the TV.

Darcy prefers soft players.

Hodgson. I have been on his case essentially since he got here. For good reason.

Why...why dump the puck at every chance instead of taking the 3 on 2, or even the 2 on 2 in the zone while you have some momentum?

Okay, boys, here were are in front of Enroth. The Ducks are swarming all around, but we have formed a square with our positioning...let's now lay off the effort completely and let Jhonas handle it; he's pretty good.

Oh that dude...was it Perry? The guy who tapped our goalie in the head after the play was whistled dead and he scooted past, yeah, he should be left alone, even though he tapped our goalie in the head.

I have been in louder graveyards than the FN Centre sounded tonight. For all y'all who complained in the previous seasons about how "quiet" the FN Centre was, uhm, THIS was "quiet".

Darcy prefers soft players. Can I say that again? Yes: Darcy prefers soft players.

"Darcy prefers soft players." Nonsense. There are enough reasons to want him gone without making stuff up. A guy who prefers soft players doesn't trade Derek Roy for Steve Ott.

Or draft Zadorov, Ristolenin, McNabb, Kassian (who was traded for not being as tough as he was advertised), Foligno, Girgensons, etc. Like you say eleven. Nonsense. We can criticize Darcy a hundred different ways, why do people try so hard to blame him for things he doesn't do?

Darcy has delayed reaction tunnel vision.

Roy, Vanek, Stafford, Pominville, Hodgson, Gaustad, Myers, Boyes, Hecht, Sekera, Butler, Lydman, MacArthur, Tallinder, Connolly, Gragnani, Kotalik, Bernier, Adam, Moulson...

Really? I'm sure there are (plenty) more Regier-era players who fit the mould. Sure, Vanek took a beating at times in front of the net, but he wasn't exactly parked there for his entire shift. He love-tapped guys into the boards just like the rest of the softies.

And let's add the dimension of mentally soft. A two-goal lead makes the entire group go emo? WTF? That's not soft?

Lindy Ruff was too mean - awwwwww, shucks, fellas, that guy isn't nice to us.

Pffft. Clearly Buffalonians are soft.

A guy who prefers soft players doesn't trade Derek Roy for Steve Ott.

No. A guy who has no clue what an intense winner looks like trades Roy for Ott.

You trade Roy for Ott because you have no idea WTF is wrong with your team and you're willing to give the fans some red meat.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if there was one and Darcy made it.

I wonder if Enroth will suddenly appear on Miller's mask walking off into the sunset with him.

Thank you, i was laughing out so loud i nearly waked up my 1 year old daughter.

You earned my golden smiley for those two post :D.

so I just rewound the game to catch all the goals.....I have to say the "effort" made by Foligno on the Ducks puck carrier through the neutral zone and into the Sabres d zone was absolutely, freaking pathetic......he literally stopped skating, coasted, and trailed the Duck forward all the way into the Sabres zone, which led DIRECTLY to the 4th Ducks goal.

It was so embarrassing I rewound it 4 times to watch it over to make sure I saw what I think I did. What was almost as bad was Rayzor's "analysis" of the play if you can call it that. Made no mention of Foligno's tank job when he should have lit him up. Ray mumbled something about the Sabres d-men collapsing and not taking a body, his typical pablum. Just for once I'd like to see Ray call it like he sees it - if he sees it.

Pathetic all the way around.

When I first saw it, I thought the same thing, he had a perfect chance to lay him out with a nice open ice check, the only problem is that he probably would have been suspended for 5 games if he did so.

Man that whole game was pathetic. I guess we should start a threat, who is your favorite alternative team. Not thinking the Sabres are worth discussing much, The backcheck in general was pathetic. I saw Hodgson do the same thing. Foligno had a particularly bad game, Its got to be frustrating.to even be on this team.

It is only going to get worse. Only a matter of time before the 7-8 guys that actually give a crap throw in the towel as well. I don't condone or accept not trying but this entire "suffering" atmosphere that has been created by management is the cause of all this.

How will we know what worse looks like, losing 6-3 I guess is one way.
