LaLaLaFontaine Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 Buffalo wins 3:2. End of season we will be the second worst team behind New Jersey. Not a good time being a Devils fan. ( Being a Sabres fan, is not much better)
LGR4GM Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 He's coming Nikita once fought Chuck Norris... when was the last time you saw chuck norris?
darksabre Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 He's Going....... Okay that's darn funny
26CornerBlitz Posted October 23, 2013 Author Report Posted October 23, 2013 Some updates from #GameDay morning skate: Nikita Zadorov will play tonight, per Coach Rolston. D pairings at morning skate were as follows: Ehrhoff-Pysyk. Tallinder-Myers. Zadorov-Weber. McBain-Ristolainen. No forward line rushes. Ryan Miller was the first goalie off the ice, so he's expected to start tonight.

apuszczalowski Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 Zadorov with Weber eh? That'll be an adventure for Nikita with how bad Weber has looked so far. Or it will make him look like the gretzky/Crosby of Defence in comparison.................
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 Zadorov with Weber eh? That'll be an adventure for Nikita with how bad Weber has looked so far. I didn't see the game the other day....but this is the pairing that can salvage any bit of season left. I think Weber has been trying to do too much. Then after the poor start, he got in his own head. Now you have the 2 guys on the team that actually WANT to clear people from in front. Just play responsible, make guys pay for position, and Nikita can rush the puck knowing Weber "should" be a safety. Should be interesting. The first time Lucic or Marchand are spraying ice, or dangling over Miller at the whistle...I want a double facewash.
wonderbread Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 He's Going....... message board Gold.
Derrico Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 Good point Ghost, I can't wait to see the physicality from that pairing. When was the last time we iced a D pairing that will both knock heads if anyone bumps Miller?
26CornerBlitz Posted October 23, 2013 Author Report Posted October 23, 2013 He's coming Love it!

At some point you're going to start valuing ability to play hockey over physicality.
dEnnis the Menace Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 Not watching the game tonight since I'll be at a soccer game (watching, not playing). DVRing the game and the Rivals show. Probably will fast forward and catch the sparknotes highlights later. Really hope we win this. The only teams I can't stand to lose to are Philly, Toronto and Boston.

The Sabres have had the ability to play hockey for years. There is a reason season ticket holders have felt safe scheduling 2 week vacations in late April the past 8 years.....

Good because otherwise you would be in for a very long year.
LastPommerFan Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 Wait, when did you get on board with the idea of tanking? Serious question. I saw video of Sam Reinhart and looked at the records of the previous dozen or so cup winners in the 4-6 years prior to starting their runs of excellence. Sam can change everything and indeed, the way the NHL is set up right now, it's essentially the only way it works.

There is a reason season ticket holders have felt safe scheduling 2 week vacations in late April the past 8 years..... Perhaps. But that certainly isn't the problem this year. LastPommerFan Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 Welcome aboard! We have cake! I assume the cake is a lie.

Stoner Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 He's Going....... Why you dirty little ratatouille. I'm watching the situation closely. I gots me an idea to go a little..."Quebec Nordiques" on this. I just need to feel out when the absolute best time to do this is, and be at the game. Jump over the glass, get pummeled by Rob, then set yourself on fire?
MattPie Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 Jump over the glass, get pummeled by Rob, then set yourself on fire? No pummelling, just have a little force applied to you.
