Jeanbe Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 I don't get the NHL network on DirecTV... BUT, they offer an HD sports mix channel... which gives me the NHL network. Potato....channel 215. Unless it's in an "upper" package. Quote
Robviously Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 I love me some track and field. Thanks, NHL. Your coverage is top notch. Be honest though -- this track and field footage is so hot it couldn't possibly wait another 15 minutes. Quote
dudacek Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 There goes probably the next best guy after Barbashev. D4rk is right, the NHL will shaft us by giving Jersey the pick back. Quote
sabre snipe Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 U gotta believe Murray had ample chance to trade up if he felt there was a player worth trading up for...still I'm disappointed Quote
Hoss Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) We'll see what New Jersey does. Really like the idea of Lemieux, Demko, Barbashev, Karlsson, Kirkland, McKoewn and Cornel with our two early picks. Ryan Donato is another name I like. A lot of solid guys still there. Iron Crotch Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 Potato....channel 215. Unless it's in an "upper" package. It's on the 2nd costliest package. And, that package gives me no channels that I'd possible watch other than NHL network. So, I don't pay the extra money. I can watch a small screen version on the HD sports mix channel (205). Quote

Iron Crotch Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 Some 1st round talents left for us in the second round. Me likey. Quote
dudacek Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) Well, Ivan is there for the taking tomorrow morning. I should be ecstatic. Why do I feel I am going to be disappointed? Edited June 28, 2014 by dudacek Quote
LGR4GM Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 The Kings took Kempe?         Quote

wjag Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 So much for all the TM bluster about being a wheeler and dealer, risk taker, etc. For all his talk about wanting back into the first, the price was pretty cheap after the 20th pick. Quote
sabre snipe Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 Well everyone wanted to trade up for barbashev... It's going to be funny to watch everyone lose it if we don't take him at 31 haha Quote
Hoss Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 It's definitely the new norm that when the media says "we'll see lots of trades" then you'll see not a lot of moves. Quote
Guest Sloth Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 Awesome. Barbashev is still available. Hope Buffalo takes him. Be good for Grigs and Girgs. Quote
nobody Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 This site would be on fire if Darcy was still GM and didn't get back into the 1st round. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 Anyone have a list of the highest ranked players left? I can't find one. Quote
Brawndo Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 How about trading 39 and 49 to get to 35? Quote
Hoss Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 How about trading 39 and 49 to get to 35? Too much to move up four spots. Quote
Rasmus_ Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 If Barbashev is taken, zomg, amazing start at the forward class. He has size, skating and the talent. Everything that the Sabres need. If he's picked, its an awesome start....Please! Barbashev at 31, and Demko/Dougherty/Lemeiux at 39? Quote
Hoss Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 My ideal day tomorrow: Lemieux at 31, Demko at 39 and Donato at 49. Quote
thewookie1 Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 Hmm I wonder how many spots we could hop with the 39th and a 6th rounder 31. Barbashev 35? Demko 49. Lemieux if still there Quote
Brawndo Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) Mike Harrington @BNHarrington 48s Murray just said he offered all three 2nd round picks to multiple teams to get back into first round. No takers. #Sabres John Vogl @BuffNewsVogl 37s Sabres have first pick of Day Two, and GM Tim Murray is hoping someone is willing to overpay to get it. So no Barbashev?
