Looking over the Q's playoff results, they really need to cut the playoff field in half. That first round looked completely pointless other than one series. Quote

Crusader1969 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 We really need to make sure we draft Adrian Kempe. Gonna have to Move up to get him I would think (early 20's?). They have the arsenal to do so if they really like him Quote

They have the arsenal to do so if they really like him Well it is hard to say where he is projected because he is a euro but I would say late 1st round early 2nd right now. That being said I could easily see him going 20-22 especially if he keeps up his strong play. He is the type of player Murray would like though, I have sadly only seen 1 game of his but I loved it. Instantly fell in love with how hard this guy works and he seems like a heads up player. Just a guy a really like kinda like EHLERS!!!!/FUCALE!!!! They have him as top 20 but I am not sure he would make it that high. http://www.ontheforecheck.com/2014/3/26/5551990/adrian-kempe-nhl-draft-2014-profile-video-modo Quote

Derrico Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 Dal Colle bounced from the playoffs. He ends with 8-12-20 in 12 games. Ya, I'd certainly take him at 5 overall. Quote

Derrico Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 Starter 8-0, finished 0-4. Yep, untimely poor goaltending led to the downfall. The Gens even started their backup in the last elimination game. Dal Colle actually looked better in this series of them getting swept then the previous series in which they swept the Petes. Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 A full 2014 Mock Draft (all 7 rounds) by Bill Placzek who is writer that evaluates mainly Amateur talent. His 7 round draft is fairly interesting. http://www.draftsite.com/nhl/mock-draft/2014/ He has us landing both Anton Karlsson (31st) and Adrian Kempe (39th) Quote

Crusader1969 Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 They could also draft Pierre Turgeon's son in the 3rd or 4th round to go with Donald Audette's! Quote
Derrico Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 What in the hell happened to Anton Karlsson and Roland McKeowan?? Weren't they names being thrown around early in the year for top 5 picks? Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 What in the hell happened to Anton Karlsson and Roland McKeowan?? Weren't they names being thrown around early in the year for top 5 picks? Karlsson was discussed as a top 10 but McKeowan was never higher than the teens as far as I remember. Quote
