Yeah no kidding he should have been fired years ago but Pegs think he's doing a wonderful job in hockey heaven. Even if Buffalo gets 2 top three picks the next two years I don't see this team being a playoff team for at least 4-5 years.

I think it was because he wasn't playing big minutes. They always said his skating was going to be a problem as he grows but good lord. He's just terrible.

To expand upon Myers, it's okay to be kind of a slow methodical skater as long as you're strong on the puck and can make good plays in tight space. Hal Gill has made a career out of it. But Myers neither moves fast nor dominates the puck. You have to do one or the other if you can't do both.

No nothing. At least the first years in Buffalo, we had Eddie Shack for entertainment value in addition to Gilbert Perreault while poor Roger Crozier stood on his head in goal. Buteverything was new and with expansion all pain could be tolerated.

It could be. I think teams have figured out that he's a friggen pylon once you strip the puck away from him, so they press him hard.

It is impossible to rate our defensive players right now. Our forwards are absolutely terrible. They have ZERO possession time. The only one who kinda does is Flynn and believe it or not, Stafford. The rest are AWEFUL!! I see our D making the right play often, and then having absolutely nothing to do with the puck because our forwards are terrible.!! I can't say it enough.

In all of this, I feel horrible for RJ. He deserved to go out in a better fashion than what the team is giving him this year
