... Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 Just give us action like that for three periods, that's all!
darksabre Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 Haha Myers saw Zadorov carry it down the right side and put it on net so he decided he had to answer by coming down the left side.
MILFHUNTER#518 Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 Good effort! Thats all I am asking for, is a little effort and fight out of this young squad. ..
Robviously Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 *sigh* I just saw 2007 Tyler Myers out there for a shift. It was like seeing a ghost......
darksabre Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 *sigh* I just saw 2007 Tyler Myers out there for a shift. It was like seeing a ghost......
hockeyhound Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 First good period the whole season. Pressure in the offensive zone! Wow! Be still my heart. Just give us action like that for three periods, that's all! Good effort! Thats all I am asking for, is a little effort and fight out of this young squad. .. YES! Let's Go Buffalo! :w00t:
26CornerBlitz Posted October 20, 2013 Author Report Posted October 20, 2013 Just give us action like that for three periods, that's all! Exactly.
SwampD Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 Just give us action like that for three periods, that's all! All we have to do is get down by 4 early in the first.
hockeyhound Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 Z vs McBain? I like Z; it's close.
Nitro60 Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 Foligno is playing a solid game. I like his aggressiveness. Need more of that across the whole team.
Lumpy Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 You have Rob Ray, Brad May and Andrew Peters on hand. Sign the 3 just for 1 game. Send them out to create mayhem. It will make an old ankle skater happy/ Get the Hansen brothers up here too. Tim "Dr. Hook" McCracken, Gilmore Tuttle, Andre "Poodle" Lussier, Ross "Mad Dog" Madison, Clarence "Screaming Buffalo" Swamptown and Ogie Ogilthorpe. Old Time Hockey.
... Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 Z vs McBain? I like Z; it's close. I like the Sabres young D corp overall. Nice, Hodgson, just float by the net with your back to the play.
CallawaySabres Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 I hope everyone is satisfied with another 10 minutes of effort
Nitro60 Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 6 on 4 and too much playing around the boards. Had a chance to make it close at the end but the team is in dire need of a PP help. Get the Hansen brothers up here too. Tim "Dr. Hook" McCracken, Gilmore Tuttle, Andre "Poodle" Lussier, Ross "Mad Dog" Madison, Clarence "Screaming Buffalo" Swamptown and Ogie Ogilthorpe. Old Time Hockey. Exactly!
Robviously Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 *sigh* I just saw 2007 Tyler Myers out there for a shift. It was like seeing a ghost...... Just realized the 2007 Myers was in Kelowna and hadn't been drafted yet. OK, I meant 2009. Either way, it was like Field of Dreams.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 20, 2013 Author Report Posted October 20, 2013 3 points after 10 games projects to the worst record in the modern NHL era I'm guessing.
Iron Crotch Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 Yay, better effort when the game is already out of reach. ;)
darksabre Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 I don't understand why it takes so long for this team to get things going. It's lame.
CallawaySabres Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 I don't understand why it takes so long for this team to get things going. It's lame. because they are not the Pittsburgh Penguins I am almost as tired of hearing this statement as I am off why certain players can't go back to Rochester
bcsaberks Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 I don't understand why it takes so long for this team to get things going. It's lame. They were flying until the first goal against. Vanek even sorta hit someone on the first shift.
JJFIVEOH Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 That's how long it takes for the other team to let up. Yup
26CornerBlitz Posted October 20, 2013 Author Report Posted October 20, 2013 Zadorov > Risto based on the ultra small sample size thus far.
IKnowPhysics Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 Once again, it's a tale of two teams. Bad Sabres team sits back and lets the play come to them. Good Sabres team charges ahead and forechecks like lunatics. I don't know whether to blame Rolston for the slow start or credit him for getting their heads un-assed and turning their game around. Zadorov > Risto based on the ultra small sample size thus far. Troof, but in addition to sample size, Zadorov didn't see many situations where he was forced to make the play under pressure, situations where Risto was weaker in his first few games but had developed a lot of composure quickly.
skaught Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 First game of the season that the Sabres outshot another team.

I hope Ron gained confidence in Zadorov tonight. I'd like to see him against some tougher competition.
