This current edition of the Sabres will make opposing goalies smile. It is like a night off and you have a good chance to get a shut out. 6 more games in October and they have a good chance to finish the month with 1 win.

The Sabres offense will pick up. It will be at about the same time teams start rolling out their backups against the Sabres. The Sabres are that team.

Miller has be the lone Sabre who has shown up to play every time he was on the ice. This team seems to not be ready to play most nights. They get it together in the 2nd period by then it is too late. Dysfunction is the word I'd use to describe them from top to bottom.
