So who goes down to make room for Tallinder..Sulzer or Risto? Gotta believe it's Sulzer but I just can't get completely convince myself it won't be Risto and I will be pissed if that happens.

Sounds like both, if both McBain and Tallinder are playing.

I suppose it makes sense if McBain's playing well and Tallinder is healthy.

I think McBain is in there for power play purposes. He and The Hoff are the only two d-men we have who make decent power play point men. Getting the power play going could solve a lot of problems for this team.

If McBain is here for the PP then he isnt doing his job. Again so far he is in the Myers area when it comes to good or bad games.

The Sabres may win tonight, if Enroth SCORES a goal and only lets in 1. It can happen.

You know the population of Pominville is going up tonight. I wonder if RJ will still make the signature call.

I'd imagine that RJ would do it much like his line when Lafontaine scored against us. Something along the lines of "one more time for old time's sake" .......

Doesn't make any sense having Risto in the Press Box for any length of time:

NEW BLOG: Tallinder returns pending roster move http://goo.gl/Hw2Bk5

#Sabres #GameDay

Sabres coach Ron Rolston said after the morning skate that a decision hasn’t yet been made, but will be prior to the game.

Ristolainen, 18, was Buffalo’s top pick (eighth overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft. In six games this season, he’s averaged 16:47 of ice time and registered seven shots on goal.

“He plays with a lot of poise. He’s good positionally. He moves the puck well, heavy shot,” Rolston said. "But he’s learning the game and the speed and the tempo and playing against some of these top forwards in the League, so it’s a big learning curve.”

Ristolainen’s played both on the power play and penalty kill, but Rolston said would he like to see the 6-foot-4, 219-pound Finnish defenseman improve his stick work and play in front of the net.

So, they'll "send" Risto down for the game and call him back up without him ever leaving the building. He can go without having to clear waivers and it gives them roster flexibility for a few days. I can't imagine it being any length of time but then again I can because this is the Sabres hockey management making decisions that boggle everyone's mind.
