waldo Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Wow. Color me surprised the score isn't much worse. one reason miller 1st period 20 shots...11-12 scoring chances trade miller ..he sucks..he is over the hill...not elite, enroth is better, .lol ..
MILFHUNTER#518 Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 time for an epic locker room speech from Rolston, then an epic comeback and 5 goal effort in the second!
hockeyhound Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 The blue line; the gap looks wider than the Niagara as the hawks come down the wings. Aggressive; however, we end up chasing them after the transition. It might help if Myers and company close the gap sooner. Make them work a little to gain ice.
SabresBillsFan Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Geez Chicago played the night before and Buffalo with the night off and then they get outshot 20-6. Incredible but not surprising this team is the worst Sabres team ever put together. And once Vanek, Miller and possibly Ott leaves this team is back to looking like an expansion team. Thanks Darcy for the suffering but this is worse than suffering they can't even compete hard. One thing these players know in that dressing room is they are going to lose almost every game it's just a matter of by how much.
MattPie Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Times I. To hear sabres broadcast and RJ isn't doin play by play who is???? Who is calling the game? I don't see it mentioned in the thread either.

JJFIVEOH Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Dunleavy is calling the game. Or are you talking about the NHL Network feed?
Stoner Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 This announcer sounds like he is conducting a wake. Not a huge fan of Dunleavy so far. He's not sharp. "The fans are excited about something that happened at center ice." And he said the Sabres were "still in the game" late in the first. Hopefully just some nerves.
lalalalalaFontaine Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Just thinking about the Sabres worst season 86-87(aside from their first two expansion years)... That team had some characters to go along with future Hall of Famers. Those games were exciting to watch even with prolonged losing streaks. There is absolutely nothing with this current roster to hang your hat on for the future. This team 110% personifies Darcy's demeanor. I have never felt so apathetic about hockey as I do right now.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Dunleavy is as bad as this team
hockeyhound Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 close th gap and they get beat more often.. big speed / skill advantage with the hawks especially with open ice It doesn't seem like they' re respecting them to much? I get it, they are between our forwards and defense essentially Myers is looking at a odd man rush; however, at some point there going to have trust the back checkers. I don't know.

Not to mention despite stellar goaltending, still winless...#BLUEPRINT
lalalalalaFontaine Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Not to mention despite stellar goaltending, still winless...#BLUEPRINT The sad part is Miller may be playing as good as he's ever played thus far.
MILFHUNTER#518 Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 The sad part is Miller may be playing as good as he's ever played thus far. I will hate to see him go, one of my favorite players of all time Did Myers just make a positive play?
... Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Ott is not first line material at all. On the flip side, Myers makes a huge play!
wjag Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Just got in from watching Gravity. Nice to see they're hanging tough..
bunomatic Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 I will hate to see him go, one of my favorite players of all time Did Myers just make a positive play? And as soon as he's gone you realize how much you've needed him. Just ask the flyers who've been in goalie purgatory for what seems like years.
K-9 Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Who is the Myers you all speak of? GO SABRES!!!
waldo Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 I will hate to see him go, one of my favorite players of all time Did Myers just make a positive play? the sad part is neither had to go..it took a special level of incompetance to get here...lol even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while
deluca67 Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 If the Sabres can keep this a 1 goal game going into the 3rd they will be in good shape.
bunomatic Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Just got in from watching Gravity. Nice to see they're hanging tough.. Saw that last week. Sat at the back of the theatre and must have bumped the back of my head against the wall 2 or 3 times. Good 3-D. Pretty good movie.
