Fetus.

You said when someone else posted naked pictures, you would too. I did my part, and keep in mind I went through 18 months as a naked little schit avatar trying to prove a point. I think it's time that I get to see the real you. All in good fun.

Here is what Darcy should have done:

Darcy's 'plan' is to rebuild but he actually does not have a real plan because he is just your average GM chasing players. As crazy as most people think I am on this board, at least I have a plan.

1) Trade Vanek, Pominville, and Ryan Miller preferably at last years deadline if not this summer.

Don't worry about losing games in a lockout shortened season but focus on improvements in your young guys

2) Send Grigorenko back to Juniors so he can learn and grow. Leave him there this year as well so he can continue to grow. There is no point in rushing him.

3) Go out and sign a UFA center who actually plays center in the summer of 2013. They need to be able to handle 3rd line duties.

Summer 2013

4) Larsson goes to Rochester with Zemgus and Armia.

5) Draft a stud forward at the draft (I guess we finish 4-5th instead of 8th) Draft a defender if they are available at 16 (Zadorov if he was still there)

6) Your stud forward joins the team (Larsson/Monahan) and your 16th pick goes back to juniors.

7) Trade with Carolina for the 2nd round pick and draft the same in the 2nd and on out as you did in this past draft

Realize going into this season it will be terrible but know you have guys developing and focus on that.

8) Your new stud forward gets 3rd line sheltered minutes

9) 2014 Trade deadline unload Ennis and Stafford, try to find a partner for Myers

10) 2014 comes, drafting high again you take another forward (I will say Jake Virtanen at 3rd overall)

Now you have Armia, Larsson, Zemgus (with another full year of AHL experience) Grigorenko (with 2 full years of QMJHL experience) Zadorov gets his 2nd and needed year of OHL experience. Plus you have your stud forward (monahan for example) with a year of NHL experience. You also have another high pick who I will say is Jake Virtanen. Plus you have Possler ready to come over from the Swedish Elite.

In conclusion the 2014 roster would have:

Girgensons - Hodgson - Armia

Virtanen - Monahan - Possler

Larsson - Grigorenko - Ott

Defense:

Ehrhoff - McCabe

Pysyk - Zadorov

Weber - Other Acqired Vet Defender

other assets acquired through trade fill out the roster, I will not be randomly guessing at trade scenarios.

2014 will be rough but barable. We finish just outside the playoffs.

2015 through some more trading involving the evaluated holes or players that are not playing up to potential we go into the season with a strong team that has been allowed to grow much more naturally then this crap we have now. We are a Playoff team with a solid core.
