JJFIVEOH Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 Ironically the Sabres played better D down a man... and had as many chances minus the Vanek line. Vanek is playing to get another team intereted now... That's literally not ironic.
hockeyhound Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 If Buffalo can win this period, it will make a difference leading into the next game. Buffalo can do it; if they loose the game fine, but at least win the period. I guess will see what kind of leadership is in the room. Let's Go Buffalo!
waldo Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 I don't hate the Sabres. I hate these Sabres. I can't stand this freaking "team." they are not soft anymore...lol
lalalalalaFontaine Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 If I still lived in Buffalo I would be chanting with you. But like u said it's almost a waste of money and time to watch this ######. I try to get back home for a couple games a year, but not a chance again until Niles Crane is gone!! I'll spend my money on back waxing!!
Stoner Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 We haven't heard from The Pegula yet. Terry would have to fire himself. He did this.
bunomatic Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 I don't hate the Sabres. I hate these Sabres. I can't stand this freaking "team." In the preseason I felt some optimism about the young fellers. Regular season has been like shock and awe and I've snapped back to reality. We're just really bad. I know I know its a rebuild yada yada yada. Its been so friggin long since this team has been any good. Its looking like its going to be a very long time till we're even competitive if ever. That being said. GO SABRES!
Eleven Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 they are not soft anymore...lol I have no idea what you mean by this.
K-9 Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 BROOKS WAS HERE Haha! LOL! See you in Zihuatanejo. We'll play chess and build a boat together. GO SABRES!!!

I like your never-say-die attitude but If they win the period, I don't think it'll mean much against the Blackhawks. It does drive me a bit crazy when I see people spell lose as loose. Please.
deluca67 Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 I've seen teams play out the final minutes of blowouts with more urgency than the Sabres have shown over the first 40 minutes of this game.
thewookie1 Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 They may as well just call Buffalo offense the Vanek-Hodgson Connection with occasional Otter help. Hodgson literally is running for his life out there seeing as our 1st line is our only threat and defenses know that.

hockeyhound Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 This is where the coach starts building a playoff team. Hockey is played within periods; they need to play to win this period, that is how to win in the playoffs. Tell them to keep the peddle to the metal; keep the feet moving, skate through it, and the wins will follow.
Hawerchuk Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 Is 638 blacked out for you? im in the west coast Las Vegas. Cox communications. It's channels 671-684. I only get the Jax feed... Again!!

And the thing that sucks so bad is that there is absolutely no reason why it needed to come to this. The putz that got us into this mess is in charge of getting us out of it... Only in Buffalo!!!
Robviously Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 Vanek's goal tonight was #252. He's now tied for 5th in Sabres history for goals scored. #LazyVanek #doesntcare

26CornerBlitz Posted October 11, 2013 Author Report Posted October 11, 2013 SRO in that Surge section.
bunomatic Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 The shift Hodgson just took to start that period was a pathetic display. At least appear to be making an effort. That was lackluster at best.
