Ironically the Sabres played better D down a man... and had as many chances minus the Vanek line. Vanek is playing to get another team intereted now...

That's literally not ironic.

If Buffalo can win this period, it will make a difference leading into the next game.

Buffalo can do it; if they loose the game fine, but at least win the period.

I guess will see what kind of leadership is in the room.

Let's Go Buffalo!

If I still lived in Buffalo I would be chanting with you. But like u said it's almost a waste of money and time to watch this ######.

I try to get back home for a couple games a year, but not a chance again until Niles Crane is gone!! I'll spend my money on back waxing!!

I don't hate the Sabres. I hate these Sabres. I can't stand this freaking "team."

In the preseason I felt some optimism about the young fellers. Regular season has been like shock and awe and I've snapped back to reality. We're just really bad. I know I know its a rebuild yada yada yada. Its been so friggin long since this team has been any good. Its looking like its going to be a very long time till we're even competitive if ever. That being said. GO SABRES!

I like your never-say-die attitude but If they win the period, I don't think it'll mean much against the Blackhawks.

It does drive me a bit crazy when I see people spell lose as loose. Please.

They may as well just call Buffalo offense the Vanek-Hodgson Connection with occasional Otter help. Hodgson literally is running for his life out there seeing as our 1st line is our only threat and defenses know that.

It literally drives me nuts.

This is where the coach starts building a playoff team.

Hockey is played within periods; they need to play to win this period, that is how to win in the playoffs.

Tell them to keep the peddle to the metal; keep the feet moving, skate through it, and the wins will follow.

And the thing that sucks so bad is that there is absolutely no reason why it needed to come to this. The putz that got us into this mess is in charge of getting us out of it... Only in Buffalo!!!

It's nowhere near the scale of posters using then instead of than. That is a freaking epidemic.

O.k. but it is an 82 game season.

Ron is trying to teach them how to be winners; they can't quit now.

Haha! LOL!

See you in Zihuatanejo. We'll play chess and build a boat together.

GO SABRES!!!

I never knew how to spell that. Thanks.

I've seen teams play out the final minutes of blowouts with more urgency than the Sabres have shown over the first 40 minutes of this game.

You know who wouldn't stand for this ######? He's coaching in Dallas now.

And when Vanek gets moved then what?
