TrueBlueGED Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Myers put the guy into Enroth. Can't really respond to that Sure you can--95% of fights in this league take place after perfectly clean checks, 3% are staged nonsense, and 2% have a purpose. All numbers approximate, of course ;)
inkman Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 And wow we need more puck possession. Which they won't improve until they improve the roster
26CornerBlitz Posted October 5, 2013 Author Report Posted October 5, 2013 RR's boys Porter and Flynn are both -2...Along with Girgs.
dEnnis the Menace Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Which they won't improve until they improve the roster Need a couple of guys to come back (Foligno, Armia)
Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 All the excitement for the beginning of the year, and it's now gone
inkman Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Whatever Vanek just did in the neutral zone was not a hockey play
ALF Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Sabres rebuilding like the Bill's, be patient. Good draft picks for both.
TrueBlueGED Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 All the excitement for the beginning of the year, and it's now gone I dunno, I'm getting basically what I expected. Not saying I'm happy with the play, but I'm not exactly deflated either since I thought this would happen. Whatever Vanek just did in the neutral zone was not a hockey play A bunch of hockey plays didn't get him a goal last night, so he's trying a different approach! :P
26CornerBlitz Posted October 5, 2013 Author Report Posted October 5, 2013 That was the best Sabre shift of the game Easily so.
lalalalalaFontaine Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 ...and the Buffalo Sabres with the #1 pick in the 2014 draft select ________________
hockeyhound Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Wow, they need to calm down; it looks like they are still in shock and awe. Passing is horrible.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 I dunno, I'm getting basically what I expected. Not saying I'm happy with the play, but I'm not exactly deflated either since I thought this would happen. I guess I'm not fully deflated, and at least last night's game was somewhat close for a while, but we cannot compete at all out there.... I sorta expected this but was hoping for 1 win
Stoner Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Did Duff just say this doesn't feel like a 2-0 game, Sabres didn't convert their chances? Hmm.
wjag Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Did Duff just say this doesn't feel like a 2-0 game, Sabres didn't convert their chances? Hmm. Yeah he did... It doesn't feel like a 2-0 game, it feels like a 3-0 after 1.
dEnnis the Menace Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Did Duff just say this doesn't feel like a 2-0 game, Sabres didn't convert their chances? Hmm. You're right it doesn't feel like a 2-0 game. It should be 3+ given the chances Pitt has had. We just had a few good blocks.
inkman Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Did Duff just say this doesn't feel like a 2-0 game, Sabres didn't convert their chances? Hmm. I'm no hockey genius, but I didn't see one quality scoring chance. Not even close. Dammit. Lost my feed #thingshorsesthink
Stoner Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Duffer, the first step to recovery is to stop digging.
Nitro60 Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 7 periods of hockey and only 1 goal. This can be the worse scoring team in Sabres history if the trend continues. The team needs to move...too much standing around in their own end. Go to the net on offense. The young guns will go through growing pains. Short term pain, long term gain? The Vets have to step up and execute.
