Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted October 10, 2013 Author Report Posted October 10, 2013 New player, hope it's not too late to jump in! 200 on Buffalo please. You're good....just need to bet 1 a month to win. Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted October 11, 2013 Author Report Posted October 11, 2013 ditto I'll let you have it, only because you could have completed a heart/lung transplant in the time it took that kid to sing the anthems.... Fun Fact: If you parlayed the original $1000 against the Sabres the first 5 games, you'd now have $14,400. Quote

LGR4GM Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 I am at 1100 if my math is right. Quote
Eleven Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 Back to $1000, and I cannot imagine a line that would make me want to bet tomorrow's game. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 Back to $1000, and I cannot imagine a line that would make me want to bet tomorrow's game. I dunno, all-in on Chicago seems like safe money regardless of the line ;) Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 I dunno, all-in on Chicago seems like safe money regardless of the line ;) This is the sabres were talking about, the one time you'd want them to lose they'd pull one outta their purses for the victory. I think I'm at 1200 now Quote
nobody Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 I'll let you have it, only because you could have completed a heart/lung transplant in the time it took that kid to sing the anthems.... Thanks (that puts me at $1500 I believe.) I think sing should be in quotes. Quote
MattPie Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 Yeah, I'm pretty going all in on Chicago this time around. Why not? Quote
deluca67 Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 I dunno, all-in on Chicago seems like safe money regardless of the line ;) it will be the third game in four nights for the Blackhawks. I small wager on the Sabres seems like the better bet. Quote

I seem to agree with this as well, Blackhawks are def a better team than us, but the fatigue as well as us having to win a game eventually may help us pull out a close one Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted October 12, 2013 Author Report Posted October 12, 2013 Chicago -240 Buffalo +200 #blueprint Quote
Weave Posted October 12, 2013 Report Posted October 12, 2013 I'm at $300. I'm all in. $300 on Buffalo. Can I do that given +200? Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted October 12, 2013 Author Report Posted October 12, 2013 I'm at $300. I'm all in. $300 on Buffalo. Can I do that given +200? Yeah...you will have $900 or be ELIMINATED!!! That's my Trump line....it gives me a false sense of purpose.... Quote
deluca67 Posted October 12, 2013 Report Posted October 12, 2013 $200 on the Buffalo Sabres. On paper it looks as if I am throwing imaginary money way. I watched he Hawks and islanders last night and the Hawks are not playing that well right now. The return is worth the risk. Quote
wjag Posted October 12, 2013 Report Posted October 12, 2013 1200 on Chicago .. No way, no how... Crawford sat last night so they don't even get the backup in this one.... Quote
Eleven Posted October 12, 2013 Report Posted October 12, 2013 (edited) No point in betting 25% of bank to win 10%. Insufficient return to justify the risk on betting Buffalo. As I predicted yesterday, I'll stand at $1000. Edited October 12, 2013 by Eleven Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 12, 2013 Report Posted October 12, 2013 (edited) it will be the third game in four nights for the Blackhawks. I small wager on the Sabres seems like the better bet. It could be the fourth game in three nights for Chicago and I'd still bet them. 720 on Chicago. I'd bet more, but on the 1% chance the Sabres win I don't want to be eliminated  Edited October 12, 2013 by TrueBluePhD Quote
