Wings in a slump, no Datsyuk, Gustavsson starting...this has all the makings of a game the Sabres can win but will lose. In spite of my better judgment, I'm going to put 200 on the Sabres.

This is why I am staying away. I really want to bet Detroit today.

I should have listened to myself. Down to 2100.

I should have listened to myself, too. It's called "regr-bet."

Or not bet, in my case, but an untaken gain is as bad as a loss in this sort of contest.

At 65 and I'll go all in on the Candiens. I think that would net me 40 dollars and put me up to 105 if the Habs win and put me out if the Sabres win.

@1820..

GoDD I was looking at Vegas lines, see what you've done to me?

Anyway, the consensus line for today's Ottawa-Vancouver is

Ottawa -110

Vancouver -110

How does that work?

Just as you'd imagine it works. There's no favorite for this game right now. The odds for the two teams can move independently of one another. If money starts coming heavy on one side of that bet, it will move (just like the LA Kings line moved dramatically a few weeks ago).
