I think it's more he hasn't liked Ennis' game. I think he is going to have to really bring it to maintain a roster spot

So I just found out that DTV doesn't give us the NHL channel out of season. I have to wait for hockey season to start. So no game for me tonight. Just another arrow in my quiver of hate for DTV.

IIRC, Lindy had them together last pre-season and they had good chemistry early on.

I hate to say it but Kaleta's act is wearing thin on me. He should be looking to Ott to see how you can agitate without being a punk. Patty's bobble head routine and board crashing habit are tired. I like him but his antics are embarrassing.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the Sabres a little more structured than last year?

 

Last year the Sabres play looked like mass confusion half the time, e.g running into each other etc; I wonder if that was a reflection of Lindy's coaching style and system.

 

Pretty good 1st period for a preseason game.
