DR HOLLIDAY Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 During the Sabres sweet win streak, I think the team picked up some bad habits. We scored so many goals, that we lost to basis of our game, team defense. And now that the puck is not bouncing for us, the lack of solid team defense and stupid turnovers is starting to kill us. Forwards seem to be to focused on scoring and making dangerous plays that we our now paying to price for these bad habits. Hopefully Lindy can right the ship soon, must be hard with all that is on his mind at the present time. This is the time for a slump however, enough time to get things straight before the real hockey starts.
Larry Playfair Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 its true - we were scoring to overcmoe our defensive deficiencies. Now we arent, our PP isnt clicking as well, so our D is being exposed for what its been since the all strar break....inadequate.
