darksabre Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 I almost spit my coffee out when you guys rhymed staphylococcus. This is cool. Nothing fancy, just effective. The original song isn't something I've ever been a fan of but I couldn't stop smiling during this version. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 The whole of Sabre Nation is going to sing and sing loudly / proudly. A great effort to all involved ... :worthy: YouTube a video and I guarantee it will go viral in no time. Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 Wow! PA really worked his tail off on this. It polished up awesome. To fit relevant lyrics in this mode is tough. I just spitballed with him for a bit at the beginning and was headed towards more of a limerick vibe, but I'm glad you held your ground PA. It works. And Swamp is a freaking jack of all trades. Nice job. My guess is that you don't smoke to be able to get that out. And the Sabre Dance guitar riff in the middle was sweet. The audio clips are perfect too. Quote
bunomatic Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 Thats excellent. Ringtone anyone ? Quote

Rip Titwide Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 Great job PA and everyone involved! Im familiar with writing music, and know that its not easy to embody an era or situation in just a few words. Well chosen lyrics. As I listened, it conjured up a video reel in my mind. Felt like I was re-living all of it. Quote
Cereal Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 :worthy: Thanks guys! Well done! Quote
SwampD Posted September 10, 2013 Report Posted September 10, 2013 Thanks for the bump Chz. This was a lot of fun to do. My only hope is that someday I'll get to perform it live, complete with Miley Cyrus twerking all up on me while wearing the new third (actually, that would be the only way I would perform it live). I can twerk.... Maybe the Sabres will let you do it outside the tent party for their next playoff game. Hopefully the day doesn't conflict with your daughter's senior prom. SwampD Posted September 10, 2013 Report Posted September 10, 2013 I can twerk.... Maybe the Sabres will let you do it outside the tent party for their next playoff game. Hopefully the day doesn't conflict with your daughter's senior prom. Oddly enough, it wasn't the thought of you twerking that invoked the taste of throw-up in my mouth from your post. Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted September 10, 2013 Report Posted September 10, 2013 Oddly enough, it wasn't the thought of you twerking that invoked the taste of throw-up in my mouth from your post. Sorry. That's a whole lot of emotion balled into one. Quote
SwampD Posted September 10, 2013 Report Posted September 10, 2013 Sorry. That's a whole lot of emotion balled into one. Actually, it was only the thought of it being that long before we get to see another playoff game. Quote
Stoner Posted September 10, 2013 Author Report Posted September 10, 2013 Thanks for the bump Chz. This was a lot of fun to do. My only hope is that someday I'll get to perform it live, complete with Miley Cyrus twerking all up on me while wearing just the new third (actually, that would be the only way I would perform it live). Clarified it for you. Quote
