I see no reason to change from Wilson. Other than that, I think much more highly of Lavvy than I do of Bylsma.

Other than the politics of it, there probably isn't a reason. Too many panties in a wad going with someone that isn't currently running a bench in the NHL.

 

And I'd rather see Labialette running the squad than Bylsma as well.

The one thing that stands out the most on those jerseys is the Nike swish.

The jerseys just look like pajamas. Especially the white ones. The lack of a stripe or design element at the bottom just screams "unfinished" to me. I like the idea of the logo, but I feel like it needs to be bigger or have a setting that spans the chest more. And the stars sum the whole thing up- idea had potential at one point, execution leaves a lot to be desired.

I seriously doubt those are game jerseys or pants. They look like the kind of leisure outfit the players wear around the Olympic Village. (If they ARE the real deal, I would do anything to NOT make the team. Anyone wearing that outfit to play in a competitive hockey game would be laughed off the ice - and should be).

I guess I didn't realize the pants were actually part of the off-ice kit. I swear I thought it was a joke until I saw Bylsma wearing them for the press.

That being said, I agree with you for the casual wear. But assuming their on-ice uniform isn't sporting the same patriotic confection, I fear it's a little boring on the bottom.

 

Maybe we should try American flag capes. (sorry Edna from the Incredibles)
