Dannepanne Posted September 8, 2013 Report Posted September 8, 2013 tearing it up against Carolina! 3-0 Larsson, Baptiste and Leduc have put it in the back of the net.
markj Posted September 8, 2013 Report Posted September 8, 2013 Prospects looking good again. I think that's 4 or 5 goals for Baptiste for the tournament.
dudacek Posted September 8, 2013 Report Posted September 8, 2013 Can't till penalties worth ######, but the rest of their game sounded good.
markj Posted September 8, 2013 Report Posted September 8, 2013 Buffalo won 7-4 over Carolina and will face Detroit on Monday.

darksabre Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 This championship bid pleases Nikita.
MattPie Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXxj1BuZgHg I lot of old Sabres number there. Gaustad, Max, Hecht, and Campbell looked pretty good there.
LGR4GM Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 This championship bid pleases Nikita. Nikita eat Wings. Wings please Nikita. I lot of old Sabres number there. Gaustad, Max, Hecht, and Campbell looked pretty good there. Lol I saw Myers out there too Anyone else really enjoying the Battle that this kids are putting up? I would say they are a lot tougher to play against than the current Sabres and i hope they all continue to grow. Baptiste has been a nice surprise especially. Hope we win it tonight!
dudacek Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 Baptiste, Risto, Larsson, Girgensons, Cat, Zadorov, apparently Compher - they really seem like they are trying to deliver on the promise to be tougher to play against. In fact, I see pieces of a team I could enjoy watching. Quick, someone from Team Stormcloud needs to slap me down. (Oh wait, that's what the regular season is for, right?)

Darcy will trade the good ones for junk and the coaching staff will never get any of them to develop into good players because we suck at drafting and developing talent... :flirt:
LaLaLaFontaine Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 I really liked what i saw in all these highlights. Hopefully there are some surprises( nhl ready rookies) for he Sabres. Baptiste definitive scored a lot.

Yup... from Team Storm Cloud... When the Sabres can get some of these guys up and find some talented centers a la Baptiste maybe storm cloud can change to team morning after... no that is still an issue.... team rainbow, no Derek Roy was traded... hmm team... ooh ahh Sabres on the warpath!

Not to nitpick but Baptiste is a winger. I think Catenacci has been centering that line. http://sabres.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=681799&utm_campaign=Wildfire+Message+-+.%40SabresProspects+breaks+down+key+performers...&utm_content=po_457200&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter) As for our Centers, I think we have seen that Larsson, Girgensons (played wing last game), Kea and Colin Jacobs are guys to keep and eye on going forward when it comes to the center of the ice. Definitely something to watch.
LGR4GM Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 Armia. Nothing. He has played what? 3 games on N.A. ice, I wouldn't be to worried. It sounded like he was involved in the play and we will have to see how he does at training camp.

Definitely something to watch. Sorry thought he was originally listed as a center.... played like one. Also on Armia, he and Larson according to the Cassidy interview controlled the ice when they were out there, just didn't show up on the scoreboard. They need a finisher... Plus Armia doesn't play on penalty kills which limited his ice-time in that game.

It sounded like he was involved in the play and we will have to see how he does at training camp. If his last name were Grigorenko he'd be getting *crushed* right now. OMG our top prospect playing against other prospects doing nothing typical Russian how is he supposed to do anything in the NHL ever? :P
dudacek Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 From what I heard of the broadcasts, Armia was getting chances, but not burying them.
