26CornerBlitz Posted November 27, 2013 Report Posted November 27, 2013 If the Amerks need to use the new backup, it may leave a Sauer taste in their mouths. I'll be here all night, try the veal. Wouldn't Turkey be more appropriate? :) Quote

Robviously Posted November 28, 2013 Report Posted November 28, 2013 (edited) Cool article about Risto: http://www.democrata...lainen/3774205/ Rasmus Ristolainen could be in for quite the treat on Thursday: He said he's spending Thanksgiving with Patrick Kaleta. A native of Turku, Finland, and having lived in the United States for all of three or four months, this will be his first Thanksgiving. "I'll maybe teach him some of the traditions; eat, watch a little football," Kaleta joked. "He's a big boy," said center Kevin Porter. "He's young but he definitely throws his body around. You're going to feel it when he hits you." Hamilton's Mike Blunden, a veteran winger checking in at 6-4, 214, clearly had seen and felt enough of the rookie's actions by the third period. He confronted Ristolainen by the benches around the 6-minute mark. They pushed and shoved and yapped. Ristolainen never changed the way he played the rest of the game, either. 26CornerBlitz Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 I really think he will retire. This makes the news worse for him: @BuffaloSabres Regarding Patrick Kaleta, Nolan says #Sabres planned to call him up to play Thursday, but a long-term injury will prevent that. Quote
Robviously Posted December 1, 2013 Report Posted December 1, 2013 Risto took a sucker punch late in the game last night and now he's out with an "upper body." Swell. That's just swell. Paul Hamilton @pham17179m I've been told by @kevinoDandC Ristolainen is out with upper body injury. He got both suckered and slashed last night. Quote
