Two or less Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 For Riley Boychuk. Per Bill Hoppe. Bill Hoppe @BillHoppeNHL 2m Devils have reportedly traded Henrik Tallinder to the #Sabres. Interesting. So, who saw that one coming?
sabre snipe Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Seems like a salary dump by the devils...ill take it. Maybe it'll have an effect on Myers
beerme1 Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Hello Tyler. You were good when Hank was on the team. Be good again.
Hoss Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Somebody on here yesterday said that they thought Buffalo would make this move.
gregkash Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 That's exactly what that is. Dear Tyler: Get your ish together.
Two or less Posted July 7, 2013 Author Report Posted July 7, 2013 Somebody on here yesterday said that they thought Buffalo would make this move. Really? Thats impressive.
NavySabre Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Hope he's healthy. He missed about 1/2 this last season.
LastPommerFan Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 More of the same. Retread. I'm about done with this team.
Trettioåtta Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Pysyk, Myers. Ehrhoff, McNabb, Rudy, Tallinder, Mcabin, Sulzer, Weber...something has to be in the works Hope he's healthy. He missed about 1/2 this last season. He was a healthy scratch for a large amount of jt
Two or less Posted July 7, 2013 Author Report Posted July 7, 2013 Hank! Tyler says thank you. Until they realize Hank is older, slower, and weaker then he was when he played here. Not the same Tallinder as Myers remembers.
IKnowPhysics Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Nice move. I always did like Hank. $3.375M for a year is far from a back-breaker. Ehrhoff-Sulzer Tallinder-Myers (McBain-Ruwehdel-Pysyk-Weber-McNabb) Gives the new kids some time to grow.
NavySabre Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Pysyk, Myers. Ehrhoff, McNabb, Rudy, Tallinder, Mcabin, Sulzer, Weber...something has to be in the works He was a healthy scratch for a large amount of jt That's worse. It's not like NJ is their usual defensive powerhouse selves anymore...and he could stay in the line up.
Iron Crotch Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Since I know you were wondering... "Boychuk, 22, was Buffalo's seventh-round choice, 208th overall, in the 2010 NHL Draft. He spent last season in the Central Hockey League, collecting eight goals and nine assists with Fort Worth"
Lanny Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Worst.case they trade Hank at the deadline for a 2nd rounder
inkman Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Pysyk, Myers. Ehrhoff, McNabb, Rudy, Tallinder, Mcabin, Sulzer, Weber...something has to be in the works Yes buffalo is trying to attain the softest d corp in the league.
Hoss Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Dmen that COULD make the NHL team this season: Myers (right), Ehrhoff (left), Weber (left), Tallinder (left), Ristolainen (right), Pysyk (right), McNabb (left), Ruhwedel (right), McBain (right), Sulzer (left). Five right, five left. Chances are we'll take three from each handedness and then we'll have a seventh. Myers, Ehrhoff, Weber are my three LOCKS to make the team. That's two lefties and a righty. So there's one lefty to choose from: Tallinder, McNabb, Sulzer. Of that, I think it's obvious Hank will be the choice. From the right, there's two left. I think Pysyk will be one and then Ristolainen, Ruhwedel and McBain will fight for the last top six spot. Then they'll choose from the two that lose out there as the seventh. My guess, at this moment: Myers-Tallinder Ehrhoff-Pysyk Weber-Ristolainen Ruhwedel That leaves McNabb, Sulzer, McBain out. I REALLY think McNabb is going to be a good NHL dman someday. So maybe he becomes trade bait at this point.
IKnowPhysics Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Darcy held out on trading Boychuk until Lamoriello finally caved and gave him a top four D. #overvaluesplayers
spndnchz Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Until they realize Hank is older, slower, and weaker then he was when he played here. Not the same Tallinder as Myers remembers. He's still a pretty smart d-man.
Iron Crotch Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Now we need a new "chuk" in the organization. How about Matt Halischuk?
spndnchz Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Darcy: "We are excited to have Henrik back in the mix on our blue line," said Regier. "His experience will be invaluable not only in adding more stability to our back end, but also in the development of some of our younger defensemen."

Hank can perform and serve as a good mentor.
