North Buffalo Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 More centers gone.... oh well. so who do the Sabres take at 16... Lodge or Dauphin? Quote
Taro T Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 So with that trade what does that say about MIllers value? It says to me what I expected. The Sabres won't get what he's worth to them now in return value. I expect him to be traded at the deadline, though I'd prefer they find a way to get him extended. Quote
Trettioåtta Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 Looks like Miller and Vanek will be on the Sabres come september. Most likely with one year left on their contracts. ###### you Darcy. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 Just don't go all LGR4GM on us if #16 is Zadorov. Haha I'm not gonna go emo or anything. Deflated is probably the best way to put the feeling. I'll live :) Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 Flyers pick their replacement for Pronger. Quote

How many buyers will be in need of a #1 goaltender? Quote
waldo Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 Sabres take Fucale. that would be the icing on the cake..lol burn the 16 on a 100-1 shot ..lol Quote
qwksndmonster Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 Flyers pick their replacement for Pronger. Once 2017 comes around... Quote
spndnchz Posted June 30, 2013 Author Report Posted June 30, 2013 Flyers pick their replacement for Pronger. Even looks like a young Pronger Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 I know, which is why I mentioned the move up. I entered today with a great sense of anticipation, for reasons I cannot explain...and I'm left deflated. It's not even about Ristolainen as I like everything I've read about him, but on an emotional level, I really had my sights set on improving the forward group. You know what they say about aiming low as to not be disappointed.. I'm right there with you. I wanted an elite game breaking type of talent at 8. They had a chance for that with Nichushkin. Oh well, Hoping for the best with Risto. Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 I don't know why everyone is down on Rasmus Ristolainen. With Monahan and Lindholm gone it was an almost no brainer. The russian factor is huge on Nichuskin Wow you want to talk about reaching. Philly and Morin Quote
LGR4GM Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 Even looks like a young Pronger I don't know why everyone is down on Rasmus Ristolainen. With Monahan and Lindholm gone it was an almost no brainer. The russian factor is huge on Nichuskin Wow you want to talk about reaching. Philly and Morin Rasmus likes to play like pronger so that is a plus for us but yes, Philly reached. Target now is Alexander Wennberg to me. This kid can play. Quote

The russian factor is huge on Nichuskin Wow you want to talk about reaching. Philly and Morin They had a chance to draft a potential superstar. Instead they decided they wanted to go to Europe to find a tough guy. Also, what does this say about their experience with Grigorenko so far? If they thought Grigorenko was working out, wouldn't they have drafted a super talented power forward that he'd played with in Russia. We suck. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 There'll be a few. But at THIS point, he's not getting much more than a 2nd for him either. ;) Look, my hockey soul is already in bad shape, there's no need to jump on it  Quote
Robviously Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 And Seattle takes Domi. Nice.   Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 Nieds to MIN for Clutterbucks and 3rd round #70. Quote
Ross Rhea Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 And Seattle takes Domi. Wonder what Seattle will call themselves? Quote
North Buffalo Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 P.S. NBC sports just put on draft live after pick 10... Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 And Seattle takes Domi. Well played. My guess for 16, if he's available, is Wennberg. Quote
Robviously Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 Wonder what Seattle will call themselves? If they can get the rights from the WHL team, they should be the Seattle Thunderbirds. Incredible logo, color, and uniforms. Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 I'm not sold on the Russian to Dallas. Plus Lindy is coaching him so don't get all worked up folks. Quote
Robviously Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 Well played. My guess for 16, if he's available, is Wennberg. My guess is that he won't be available. Because that's the type of day we're having. We'll probably take Erne. He used to play for Patrick Roy so he must be incredible. #DarcyLogic Quote
