JJFIVEOH Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Holy crap! In 24 hours, Lehner has face 85 shots in 85 minutes. He faced 50 shots last night, and so far 35 in relief tonight with one more period to go. He could face 100 shots in 24 hours. Quote

Eleven Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 It's almost like putting on a great jersey can somehow influence a team to play better... Are you sure about that? Because those 40th anniversary sweaters were pretty freaking awesome. Also, this is hockey, my man; we call them sweaters here. Quote

I liked the anniversary sweaters, but they still don't beat the originals. Quote

Also, this is hockey, my man; we call them sweaters here. Someone had to say it. I resisted doing so in the 3rd jersey thread. 3rd jersey? New Jersey, Jersey the channel island, and what? West Jersey? Did they annex Philadelphia? Unless they're actually sweaters like they used to be, I can't justify calling them sweaters. I liked the anniversary sweaters, but they still don't beat the originals. Dirty, filthy heathen Quote

Marvelo Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Hmmm....Nail Yakupov was benched... Quote
LGR4GM Posted October 14, 2013 Author Report Posted October 14, 2013 Is it me or does this board have an unhealthy obsession with Nail Yakupov? Quote
Marvelo Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Is it me or does this board have an unhealthy obsession with Nail Yakupov? Well I was watching the Oilers the other day with Devin Dubnyk in net...they could use a Ryan Miller to make them competitive...although Yakupov is a bit of a showboat for being such a youngster. darksabre Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Biron?! wow...that's surprising. No kidding. Hertl killed his career the other night. I wonder if he'll get claimed? Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Pick up Biron, assign him to the 2nd Intermission Report. Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Pick up Biron, assign him to the 2nd Intermission Report. Definitely loquacious enough for the job. Quote
Eleven Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Pick up Biron, assign him to the 2nd Intermission Report. Nothing doing. I want him on WGR from 10 to noon. Quote

26CornerBlitz Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 @TSNBobMcKenzie NYR expected to promote goalie Cam Talbot to take Marty Biron's place. Biron, of course, is on waivers. Talbot has been playing well in AHL. Marty's number are pretty bad this year: http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/1395/ Quote

Its almost like Tort's defensive style may have helped his goalies stats and now they have to adjust to being the only goalie on the ice for their team or something? Quote
