MattPie
There's a Patrick Roy goal like that, but I can't find it on Youtube. Skates over to the side and it bounces off his pad and in.

shrader
Quick shot one into his own net back when he was at UMASS. I unfortunately can't find much of anything when it comes to his college highlights on youtube.
LTS
GO TEAM USA! Quick for ever. Man I feel for that guy right now. That's just the worst confluence of crap you can deal with.
Jsixspd
http://youtu.be/2hXMx_aBQo4 :w00t: Haha, what an idiot. The puck wouldn't have even come anywhere near the net if he hadn't deflected it. It's trajectory would have taken it about 4 ft right of the side of the net. He should have just picked up his stick and ignored the puck. Quick always seems to get burned when he comes out of the net - LOL

bunomatic
4 goals. Nineteen years old. We could only wish. I wonder how long before Alain whatsisname in New York gets fired ? Either San Lose is really really good or the Rangers are very bad.

IKnowPhysics
I scored like that once. It should never, ever work, ever. It has no business working. At least not in a game. Biron had backed into the net probably expecting that playing out would've opened him up to some side-to-side deke, and he ended up giving the top corners away. Not sure why he didn't go butterfly and try to poke check. It's a big lead at that point.
Iron Crotch
Gaustad and Pominville reunite tonight in Nashville. Both of them have a goal so far this year in two games. #ThatCoreIsStillRotten I was at the game. Goose played really well as the 4th line center. Took all the big draws at the end of the game, of course. Pommer didn't really do much. He got mashed head first into the boards by Weber for coming too close to Rinne after one play (Weber got 2 for roughing). Kind of made me smile. On another note, Seth Jones is the real deal. He led the Preds in ice time for the second game in a row and was very dangerous offensively. He can skate like anything and is a great passer. Made a few "rookie plays" in his own end, but overall was solid. Filip Forsberg looked dangerous offensively in his first game of the year (he scored his first NHL goal). He, of course, was taken right before Grigo in the 2012 draft. Matt Dumba was out there for the Wild (#7 pick last year) and didn't do anything too awful as I recall. Ghost of Dwight Drane
The kid's lucky he doesn't get pounded for doing that during a game. I'm late to the party...just saw the goal now. The first thing I did was head to the boxscore to see how many fights there were the rest of the game. Unbelievable. Up 8-2, you have 3 goals, you're 19, and you pull that? I'm sure Torts was smiling.....
JJFIVEOH
Good for him! This isn't tee ball, these are the world's best hockey players that are paid big bucks to perform. If you play poorly enough to get beat 9-2, you deserve to lose 9-2.

Other teams are going to keep an eye on him from now on. I actually thought it was one of the rare times, and I mean very rare, where that move made sense. He was coming across the goal, the goalie was following him and had the net completely covered, they both kept moving and the puck stopped and he became his own screen. If they don't like it then stop it. Also, screw the Rags.
