26CornerBlitz Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 @SabresProspects Tonight: Sudbury (Baptiste) and QUE (Grigo) look to avoid elimination. D'ville expected to be without Carrier as they try to close out Victo
Crusader1969 Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 looks like grigs can head to rochester, losing 5-2 late in 3rd 2 more assists for the big russian. never seen them play but seems as though the Remparts are a 1 line team Grigs has 1g 8a in 5 games
26CornerBlitz Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 (edited) @SabresProspects Grigorenko gets two assists as QUE exits the playoffs w/ 6-2 loss to R-N. Grigo: 1-8-9 in the five games. No reason he wouldn't go to Roch. Maybe Baptiste can get a look with the Amerks too: @SabresProspects Meanwhile, Sudbury (Nick Baptiste) needs a miracle to stave off elimination. They're getting shellacked by Barrie 6-0 w/ 11 mins to go. @SabresProspects Mass answer: Grigorenko (ELC), Kea, Locke, Baptiste - all are eligible to go to Roch now that their CHL seasons are done. 26CornerBlitz Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 McCabe may be on his way too. North Dakota up 3 2 1:44 to go Only if he's ready to turn pro.
inkman Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 This sums up the current state of the Amerks http://youtu.be/lr5Icp06lQI
26CornerBlitz Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 @SabresProspects Season ends for Jake McCabe and Brad Navin as Wisconsin falls to North Dakota 5-2 in the NCAA Midwest Regional Semifinal. Jake McCabe has the polish and two-way game to make the pro jump if he wants to give up his final year in Madison. Wait/see.
3putt Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 During telecast Darren Elliot said he would be surprised if McCabe didn't begin his pro career because the NCAA does not allow enough games. Fwiw.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 Fasching brings power game to Minnesota lineup Freshman Hudson Fasching had had quite the season so far with the University of Minnesota. The Burnsville, MN native currently leads the Golden Gophers in frosh scoring with 28 points (12 goals, 16 assists) in 36 games. Fasching was earlier named to the Big Ten All-Rookie Team. More recently, he was named the recipient of Minnesota’s Frank Pond Award as the team’s Rookie of the Year. On March 5th, Fasching had his NHL rights traded to the Buffalo Sabres from the Los Angeles Kings. Hockey’s Future caught up with Fasching after practice on Friday at the NCAA Tournament West Regional at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN.
darksabre Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 My favorite part about that isn't that Zadorov own the guy but that he stops backing away from him. I hate how our defenders just constantly keep backing away. Zadorov really has a ton of potential, I look forward to seeing how he progresses. Zadorov 5pts 3g,2a in 4playoff games. He has great perception. He reads players like a veteran. It's very exciting.
drnkirishone Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 (edited) He has great perception. He reads players like a veteran. It's very exciting. my fear is coaching and/or nhl experience will take that away..... Edited March 29, 2014 by drnkirishone

deluca67 Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 Headed to Rochester--finally! http://blogs.buffalo...grigorenko.html I don't care if he scores 100 goals in 50 games in the ROC, I don't want to see him in a Sabres jersey until 2015-16 at the earliest.
3putt Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 I don't care if he scores 100 goals in 50 games in the ROC, I don't want to see him in a Sabres jersey until 2015-16 at the earliest. BS flag. If he has 100 in 50 next year while Leino is looking for his first you'll be lighting the torches and sharpening the pitchforks to storm bc arena and drag him to the fnc. I do agree that he needs some time but we are beyond the point of worrying about damaging him. If he shows the goods by xmas he comes up.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 @SabresProspects Hudson Fasching planted in front, scores from the edge of the crease to give Minnesota a 5-2 lead on Robert Morris.

26CornerBlitz Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 @SabresProspects Connor Hurley has another assist tonight for Green Bay. That's 33 points (9+24) in 32 games since being dealt to GB; 14 of 24 assists on PP.
