Trettioåtta Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 Wasn't someone on this board suggesting we should only have a team of players from WNY once?
North Buffalo Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 Otters are one of the coolest animals in real life. On really quiet days at the zoo, the otters will hang and play, putting on a show for you. They are hams....it's funny how Ott really is like an otter. The Native Americans hold the otter in high regard. They dread the weasel however........sounds about right. At Norwalk Aquarium when the see mine and other younger kids show up they do the same. Also right after feeding time they do too and yes they are way cool. Mink on the other end of the weasel family are funny criters and beautiful. They will go after fish and other criters 3 times their size, especially fish. Saw one drag a 10 pound pike up a dock in Canada when I was a teenager working for a commercial fisherman. We let him have it. P.S. They weigh about 21/2 pounds soaking wet. They are known to be viscious. The Sabres could use some of that.
nobody Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 Wasn't someone on this board suggesting we should only have a team of players from WNY once? Not me - but since they didn't sign Lepkowski it doesn't look like the Sabres think they should.
spndnchz Posted June 4, 2013 Author Report Posted June 4, 2013 Hasn't just about every hockey player had a concussion (diagnosed or not) by that time in their careers? I just meant with the same player you take the one with no concussion history. He may move a few down a few clicks. Like a bad knee or shoulder history could.
26CornerBlitz Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 I hope we draft Bailey, not just for the Buffalo connection but I like the kid's game and size. Here's a good scouting report on Bailey: http://thehockeyguys.net/justin-bailey-scouting-report-2013-nhl-draft-prospect-profile-kitchener-rangers/
LGR4GM Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 Here's a good scouting report on Bailey: http://thehockeyguys...chener-rangers/ Well sounds like we can take him at 38 or wait until 48(?) overall and take a shot at this kid if he is available. Sounds good and I like the Williamsville connection.
LTS Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 My first thought was penis. Then I saw weasel. Weasel penis? Is that bad? It's probably not good, but it's probably better than Whisky Dick.. That said..
26CornerBlitz Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 Haven't heard or seen any info from the Sabres on this. Must be a matter of closely held organizational intelligence.
bunomatic Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 Haven't heard on seen any info from the Sabres on this. Must be a matter of closely held organizational intelligence. Or lack thereof,
skaught Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 They weigh about 21/2 pounds soaking wet. They are known to be viscious. The Sabres could use some of that. Nathan Gerbe?
26CornerBlitz Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 @THNRyanKennedy Thanks to twitter, we know both Morgan Klimchuk and Josh Morrissey were at the Buffalo combine - Sabres have two first-round picks this year
