He'd better have a plan to fix the power play. Will be interesting to see who the assistants will be.

Man this is painful. A slow painful withdrawl, but every step I take tells me that I am doing the right thing... A least the Bills are looking interesting, guess I am going to have to switch boards...

I don't think I have ever been this low as a fan. The Bills utterly suck and refuse all attempts to get better and the Sabres utterly suck and refuse all attempts to get better. The Bills made one bad coaching decision after another. At least the Sabres didn't fit that mold until now. Both teams sport an underperforming and/or clueless GM.

Rolston is the guy Regier wants because he won't question or challenge him on anything, not because he is the BEST candidate. Great off-season so far... 1 - Regier retained 2 - Rolston made permanent without any competition <Insert a huge "WTF WAVE"> What did you all expect was going to happen? Was it really unreasonable to expect a coaching search to occur?

Keep a coach who is used to working with young kids and will be easy to throw into the volcano when we're terrible. Oh, and we'll get to watch the trap all game every game for at least two years. I think that as soon as he learned his target (Laviolette) was keeping his job in Filly, Regier just pulled the trigger. You wanted "anybody but Ruff"? You got him. As I wrote in February, le roi est mort, vive le roi. Let's get behind this guy, because he's the coach now.
