darksabre Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 If Spiller were even remotely close to what he was last year, the Bills would be 3-1 right now. He's been awful so far. This game is way too close. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 Jesus hates the Bills. :( Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 (edited) Maybe Spiller really is better suited as a change of pace guy. Who knows. And I think they miss Levitre's ability to pull and get runs outside. Nice to see Dareus make a few plays today. Edited September 29, 2013 by TrueBluePhD Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 Well this is certainly a nail biter..... Bills had several chances to put a nail in the coffin and didn't.... Now we wait Quote
inkman Posted September 29, 2013 Author Report Posted September 29, 2013 So does Marrone not understand how to use the clock? Or is this on Hackett? I think Baltimore has every reason to bitch on that penalty. If EJ is going to get all cute with kneeling he should get sacked. I don't see the problem. Quote
darksabre Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 I love this. Screw the Ravens. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 The force is strong in young Kiko Alonso. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 This would only be better if the murderer was still playing. Quote
Tom Backyard Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 Sweet. Does this mean we're the Super Bowl Champions now? Quote
wjag Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 Simply delightful.. This is a real win. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 Can Alonso run routes? He's been awful so far. This game is way too close. Very. Too many drives I saw them come up with 3rd down and 4-7 to go after running Spiller twice for minimal yardage. Quote
Robviously Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 The force is strong in young Kiko Alonso. If Alonso was just "good", we'd be 0-4 right now. Alonso is off to as strong a start as any Bills rookie I can remember. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 Kiko Alonso is a sure fire baller. Wow. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 (edited) All this talk about a depleted defense..... the secondary can't look much better (all things considered) and the defensive line was simply outstanding today. The offense needs some serious help. But, they're 2-2 with a very winnable game on Thursday. Let's go Bills! Edited September 29, 2013 by JJFIVEOH Quote
darksabre Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 Our defense makes zero sense and I love it. Simply delightful.. This is a real win. And how. Feels good. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 I had to listen on radio today, but it sounded like the much maligned Da'Norris Searcy was making a lot of plays in the secondary. Hopefully we'll get a DB or two back for Thursday's game against Cleveland. Quote

It's called "unnecessary" roughness for a reason. Quote
inkman Posted September 29, 2013 Author Report Posted September 29, 2013 It's called "unnecessary" roughness for a reason. Isn't that a little subjective? Like just about every penalty in the NFL. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 What happened when BFLO got the ball back with a minute left? I left the bar right after the Alonso interception. Quote
carpandean Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 (edited) What happened when BFLO got the ball back with a minute left? I left the bar right after the Alonso interception. Bills did three straight drop back three or four stpes to take a couple of seconds off and then take a knee, since they couldn't really run out the clock. The defender decided to take out EJ hard on the the third one, which took care of the 5 seconds that they couldn't run off. Edited September 29, 2013 by carpandean Quote

inkman Posted September 29, 2013 Author Report Posted September 29, 2013 That just might be the most satisfying Bills win for me in a decade. Better than the Patriots? These Ravens are but a shell of the SuperBowl champs. Quote
deluca67 Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 Isn't that a little subjective? Like just about every penalty in the NFL. Sure it is. The NFL is concentrating on player safety, if you are going to flag hits on what are deemed "defenseless receivers" , then you have flag hits on a QB that is giving themselves up. Better than the Patriots? These Ravens are but a shell of the SuperBowl champs. Does anyone have any idea what the Bills all-time record is against reigning Super Bowl Champs? Quote

Except when Suggs makes contact EJ isn't all the way down. What if he was faking a knee only to get up and run for a first? It was a silly ploy by the Bills. Just run the damn ball 3 straight times, it would have done the task without all the gimmickry. Quote
