darksabre
Correct but I think losing Pettine could be disasterous. I'd say he's 75% responsible for the D's turn around. And the D is responsible for most of this team's success this season.
inkman
And the D is responsible for most of this team's success this season. Yeah the jury is still out on EJ and Hackett. It seems like, from watching Thad that a lot of the offense's struggles have been due to EJ's conservatism rather than Hackett's ineptitude. inkman
Hackett-bust? Exactly. Maybe that was the OP's intent in that thread.

What Schopp fails to mention is "good player" Jerry Hughes looked like a complete bust until he got traded here. I think Pettine has done a fantastic job of putting players in position to maximize their strengths and hide their weaknesses.

Since then they've won 12 straight at home

There's no way the Bills don't win!

deluca67
After watching the early morning pre-game shows I really want the Bills to f'up the AFC play-off scenarios.
SwampD
After watching the early morning pre-game shows I really want the Bills to f'up the AFC play-off scenarios. In years past, the Bills would lose this one by 30. I'm definitely interested to see what happens today.
Eleven
After watching the early morning pre-game shows I really want the Bills to f'up the AFC play-off scenarios. Damn straight. Does Cincy need to win to make the game meaningful?
Wyldnwoody44
Its hilarious the dolphins choked away their playoff chances, losing to buffalo and then NY.... I'm more interested in the GB/Chicago and philly/Dallas games today. I don't think the bills have the horses to take this one tho

Wyldnwoody44
Thad can really hit a decent percentage of mid/deep balls.... EJ can not
Robviously
Thad can really hit a decent percentage of mid/deep balls.... EJ can not My main complaints with EJ are his accuracy and the fact that he was injured three times this year. Unfortunately, those are two things that don't improve all that much with age. Unfortunately, those are two things that don't improve all that much with age. I think they can be improved, I just think a franchise qb has at least the accuracy.... The getting injured is a learning experience (albeit 3 times is too much for a 1st year player)

SwampD
Nothing is going to change my mind that these games aren't fixed. Roger Goodell can lick my taint.
SwampD
There was no way we were losing that game by less than 8 1/2.
Wyldnwoody44
13 years of losing in new england.... Thad looks better than EJ, regardless of why or how, just watching the 2 it's obvious
Eleven
13 years of losing in new england.... Thad looks better than EJ, regardless of why or how, just watching the 2 it's obvious Why: Because one is a first-round pick, and the other isn't. There is an inherent need to think that the first-round guy must be a star early. There is no way that Thad Lewis is a better quarterback. He has, however, had more time in the league. Notably, with other teams that don't have good quarterbacks, and they didn't start him, either.
SwampD
It's now 3 hours after the game. Has anyone seen a replay yet that doesn't show Blount fumbling through the end zone. It should have been 20-27, Bill's ball at the 20.
