X. Benedict Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 What is the cause of this? Leopold made it pretty clear that our room was a completely unhappy place and WGR was talking yesterday about how there were rumblings like that for years. Is it Miller? Vanek? Stafford? This is another reason I'm wishing we'd have cleaned house a little more dramatically yesterday. Clear out whatever negative atmosphere there was and let something new and better grow in its place. This game is fun dammit.
SwampD Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 My theory is that the team put a level of responsibility and leadership on players that couldn't handle it. Have you ever had a boss or leader that didn't want the job of leading and wasn't very good at it? In my experience those folks tend to radiate their internal stress onto those around them. take a look at thew Minny Pominville interview. Pommer is relaxed and personable. That right there is a new man without a care in the world. I bet he's loose in the Minny lockerroom. I bet he's been anything but loose since '07 in Buffalo. It's pretty remarkable. I don't know if I've ever seen him like that.
nfreeman Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 Just watched the interview. Good for Jason. He's a good guy and a good hockey player and I wish him well.
LastPommerFan Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 Pommers first Wild interview http://video.wild.nh...bed-share-video I'm happy for him. I'm not going to cry about it. I am not going to cry. No crying.
Stoner Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 It's pretty remarkable. I don't know if I've ever seen him like that. I felt the same way about Lindy during the Olympics. Smiling and everything. Maybe the Cheerios plant is actually a government facility where they're testing mood-altering grains.

PromoTheRobot Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 Well trading Roy probably made the place more somber The players from the 09-10 team still with us: Stafford Hecht Vanek Myers Miller Kaleta Sekera Blame one of these guys - Hecht is the usual choice around here Alternatively, it could be Buffalo. I would hate to play in Buffalo everyone just whines all the time - I wasn't on this board for the 05-07 period, were people even happy then? DING! DING! PTR
Who Else? Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 Wild with Pominville vs Kings with Regehr tonight @ 10:30 EDT on NHL Network. Anybody watching? I'm in. I needed a western conference team to root for anyway, and now that Heatley is out, the wild are easier to cheer for. Is Pominville in the line up tonight? I heard a report earlier today that he would make his debut on Saturday.
Braedon Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 Very late to the party.. ...but I like the trade. Too many blowhards on this site. As you will.
LastPommerFan Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 Blue and Gold make? Buffalonian Wings?

Is Pominville in the line up tonight? I heard a report earlier today that he would make his debut on Saturday. From NHL.com game preview: The Minnesota Wild are hanging onto the top spot in the Northwest Division despite losing 5-2 at San Jose on Wednesday night -- but they should have their newest acquisition, forward Jason Pominville, available for the game.
Eleven Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 How about a coach? I'm going to start somthin' about that in a few minutes.
