LaLaLaFontaine Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 (edited) He is not goofy! He is good! Best beyond blue and gold until yet. I still have goose bumps. Wow! Edited September 19, 2014 by LaLaLaFontaine Quote
dEnnis the Menace Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 That was a great episode!! Quote

That Aud Smell Posted March 13, 2015 Report Posted March 13, 2015 Not quite Beyond Blue and Gold, but it's a Sabres video and it is outstanding. http://video.sabres.nhl.com/videocenter/console?id=778735&catid=-6 This is Rob Ray interviewing a vaguely (and jokingly) truculent George Babcock. I loved this piece. And, btw, this is precisely the sort of thing that Ray is good at. Quote
LGR4GM Posted October 9, 2015 Report Posted October 9, 2015 Buffalo Sabres @BuffaloSabres 42m42 minutes ago #BeyondBlueAndGold is back! Go behind-the-scenes with Jack Eichel for our 1st episode: http://bufsabres.co/0hhaOL "Maybe we won the lottery" Jack - "I think you did." Quote
LGR4GM Posted October 9, 2015 Report Posted October 9, 2015 Little surprised this didn't get more interest, it was the Jack Eichel draft. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 9, 2015 Report Posted October 9, 2015 I like that they talked about the how many words will GMTM say before Jack Eichel thread. The wanna-hook-up? look that TM gave Eichel as he was walking to the podium was amazing. Somebody needs to set that to Bill Withers. Quote
WildCard Posted October 9, 2015 Report Posted October 9, 2015 (edited) Little surprised this didn't get more interest, it was the Jack Eichel draft. I just watched it, that was awesome. That scene of him staring up into the banners in the FN'C in an dark, empty stadium was so cool. Plus that stare Murray gave him when he was walking up to select Eichel was so damn cool Edited October 9, 2015 by WildCard Quote

I loved this piece. And, btw, this is precisely the sort of thing that Ray is good at. Ghosts of who I wonder. Also it seems as if Rob Ray is a better interviewer/personality while Andrew Peters sounded not half bad as a color man. Ironic they have the other's seemingly better spot. In regards to the Eichel interview, I love the quote mentioned by LGR. I also liked how he mentioned that his family rooted for us to lose the lottery. Remember, Eichel may have gone back to college had he been drafted by Arizona. Quote
LGR4GM Posted October 9, 2015 Report Posted October 9, 2015 I just like how blatantly everyone knows that Jack is the guy and how excited he seems to be that Buffalo lost the lottery. Quote
LGR4GM Posted October 31, 2015 Report Posted October 31, 2015 Episode 2: Dan Bylsma http://video.sabres.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=1581&id=860112&cmpid=sm-fb-video Quote

I never really watched the series until this year, I really enjoy it. The end of that, Byslma is watching a scrimmage, to paraphrase he goes "We got some f**cking hockey players, some realy f**cking hockey players. No joke, those are some eral f*cking players" Quote
WildCard Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) Next Blue & Gold coming out soon, it's going to be on Eichel living with Moulson I'm hoping they do one on Reinhart eventually Edited November 12, 2015 by WildCard Quote

Randall Flagg Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Yo, at 15 seconds in, does Jack chew or is that a hockey puck in his back pocket?? Quote
Stoner Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Yo, at 15 seconds in, does Jack chew or is that a hockey puck in his back pocket?? He's happy to see you. Nah I think it must be a puck. Snuff can wouldn't look that weighty. Quote
SwampD Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 He's happy to see you. Nah I think it must be a puck. Snuff can wouldn't look that weighty. It's chew. I like him even more now. Quote
Stoner Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 It's chew. I like him even more now. I'm throwing my challenge flag. Review! Maybe we need a poll. Oh yes, Buffalo hockey, where we intently study players' posteriors for signs of a personal habit that will either be supported or criticized. Quote
WildCard Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Yo, at 15 seconds in, does Jack chew or is that a hockey puck in his back pocket?? That's a tin, and Jack Eichel continues to be my hero. Pretty sure we saw Murray with a lip in at the Bills locker room once too Quote
Stoner Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 It's chew I guess. There's no good explanation for why he'd have a puck in his back pocket. My impression of snuff cans is that they are smaller and less weighty than that. Maybe Eichel gets the Jumbo Can (made up term; I wouldn't know the sizes of snuff cans.) Quote
