TrueBlueGED Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 (edited) Yet UB, after losing its coach and two best players, manages to be the only WNY team to make back to back tournaments in 60 years. The times, they're a changin. Edited March 14, 2016 by TrueBlueGED Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 Bonas is NY's team this year. I'm sure NY cares a lot about the NIT. Quote
Hoss Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 Because they play in the MAC... Give Bonas the MAC and they'll make the tournament every year. Quote
Hoss Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 Someone's bitter. Of course I'm bitter. My school was just one of the, if not THE, biggest snub in history. Statistically they are. It's outrageous. Quote

Maybe they wouldn't be able to recruit as well. And as they proved last week, they're perfectly capable of losing to inferior teams when it counts. Quote

Losing to Davidson is what happens when you play in a good conference. Jack Gibbs is the 5th leading scorer in all of NCAA Basketball this year. There's no argument against Bonas. Tulsa got destroyed in their tournament on Friday to an even worse team than Bonas did. Edited March 14, 2016 by Hoss Quote

But Memphis is not a worse team than freaking Davidson.  And while the A-10 might be more impressive than the MAC or MAAC, it's not the American, either. Quote

WildCard Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 59-6,  the Warriors must go 14-3 to beat the Bulls record of 72-10. In that last stretch, they happen to play the Spurs 3 times, and the Grizzlies twice. The Spurs, having one of their greatest seasons ever, are often overlooked due to GS's miraculous season. San Antonio is 56-10. Quote

Undefeated at home, second best 3-point team, super deep roster, best coach in the league...if they meet in the West Final, that's the real NBA Finals. Quote
