shrader Posted October 13, 2024 Report Posted October 13, 2024 I hope they can find a way to crush MLB’s ratings dreams. 1 Quote
JustOneParade Posted October 14, 2024 Report Posted October 14, 2024 I know its MLB playoff season but I just had to pass this along. Unbelievable. In a game over the weekend a HS QB in Louisiana completed 53 of 68 passes for 817 yards and 8 touchdowns. He also ran for 88 yards and two additional TD's. The truly incredible part? His team LOST in overtime 77-76. There's a DC down there that has some 'splainin' to do. Quote

DarthEbriate Posted January 16 Report Posted January 16 Bob Uecker passed away today. Grab yourself a Miller Lite (nah, probably don't). Grab yourself a good beer or a Wisconsin-style Old Fashioned, kick up your feet tonight, and watch Major League. It's a month until spring training games, but it's not too early to give the Ueck a tip of the cap. Quote

There was never really any doubt in my mind that they would get this done. Maybe a twinge that they may just 'Blue Jay' the situation. What do you think they will do with Bo? I think they will make a strong pitch to extend him long-term as well, but not crazy $. Maybe 10 years and $300M. Look at me and what I am calling not crazy $!! 1 Quote

Ya from all accounts Bo wasn’t even going to entertain signing unless Vladdy was going to be there as well, apparently roster construction/winning is a huge priority for him of course, they haven’t done much of that yet. But locking up your franchise player in Vlad for the rest of his career is going to go a long way. Only just entering his prime years. now we just need him to hit his first dinger of the year 1 Quote
