Abbott couldn't hit for sh!t!

Now this is funny. Maybe wrong, but still funny.

You can be moving from one hole to the next w/ a brew in hand. You can also be lining up your shot, figuring out how the green breaks, etc (all important parts of actually PLAYING the game of golf) all w/ a brew in hand.

And seriously, you've never been out in left field w/ a brew in hand while a softball game was going on? You ABSOLUTELY can play softball w/ one hand. Just set the beer down if the prick at the plate hits it in your direction. If it goes to right, you dont even have to set the beer down.

But, there is no ####ing way you are skating around while a game is going on w/ a brew in hand. Would definitely result in alcohol abuse. ;)

I've actually been known to make a few short putts with one hand while holding a beer in the other. And alcohol abuse in hockey is when your beer is on the boards and someone gets checked into it knocking it over. We used to have pickup games at the outdoor Manhattan Square Rink in Roch and there were usually a few beers lined up on the boards as there was no glass. Ah, the good ol' days.

As if I needed more reasons to hate notre dame. They're the school with their logo on the ice at the frozen four. They aren't even playing anymore.

Thry are the "host" school. Their logo would've been there even if they lost in the quarters like tgey should've.

Yeah, yeah. It's in a different state!

If I recall correctly, and I may not. It was in Tampa last year. Who was the host school? I don't recall a logo on the ice. Boston the year before that, hockey East logo on the ice.

Listen, I just really hate notre dame and I don't remember schools logos being on the ice.

What a lax game. Syracuse started out up 4-1 over NC then trailed 5-10 in the 3rd. They tied it at 11 and got robbed by the goalie w/ 10 seconds left in regulation.

Got a man up in OT & made it count.

Cuse is 7-1 in one goal games this year. They're the 1st team ranked #1 overall in 7 weeks to not lose.

Great game.

Haven't they been behind late in games a few times recently, then won in OT? Not exactly encouraging for a #1

They've been finding ways to come through in the clutch. Would be surprised if they win the championship but they've been in some exciting games. Fun season to watch them.

Their only loss came when they were missing their faceoff specialist against Army.

You gotta be a special kind of DB to wear white shorts on the golf course. Today that DB was me! God, I love spring. Golf almost every morning, softball every weekend and the sun is shining pretty darn regularly.

Oh, and baseball season!

Texas Rangers beat the Kansas City Royals 1-0 in 13 innings.  It was an extremely well-played game all around, with an exciting finish:  The only time either team was able to string two hits back-to-back with a one-out double by Joey Gallo followed by the winning RBI by Delino Deshields.  Maybe not household names to most, but they've been hanging around the Rangers franchise for a few years and it was good to see them contribute when it was needed.
