Stoner Posted May 8, 2016 Report Posted May 8, 2016 Ghost, if you're out there, this drink is for you. Hope you're enjoying Derby day. I wanted to restart the thread where we came up with Sabre-themed names for the horses but couldn't find it. I had That's a Yeichel champing at the bit. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted May 8, 2016 Report Posted May 8, 2016 Bartolo Colon hit his first career home run yesterday. Pretty funny. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted May 8, 2016 Report Posted May 8, 2016 Bartolo Colon hit his first career home run yesterday. Pretty funny. He gives inspiration to old / fat dudes everywhere. I love the graphic on the screen letting everyone know that it was his *first home run this year*. Quote
WildCard Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 What the hell is a bonus and why do Portland and GS keep fouling each other intentionally? Quote
ubkev Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 And to answer that, in the NBA, when you get to 5 team fouls, the other team shoots free throws on all fouls after that, even non shooting fouls. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Curry has me watching a sport I don't even like with my mouth open in awe. Quote

Stoner Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Not Eichel Tower? Doesn't have a ring to it. Yeah, pretty spicy. Try eating some bread. You're too young for dad jokes. Quote

WildCard Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 OKC eliminated the Spurs tonight. Talk about an upset. Quote
ubkev Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 OKC eliminated the Spurs tonight. Talk about an upset. Golden State says thanks! Quote
WildCard Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 Golden State says thanks! Really though. GS couldn't be happier right now. Looking forward to a rematch of last years finals, but with a healthy Cavs team this time. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 OKC eliminated the Spurs tonight. Talk about an upset. I'm legitimately shocked. And I'm still not entirely sure how it happened. Quote
WildCard Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 I'm legitimately shocked. And I'm still not entirely sure how it happened. It would be different if OKC won all 3 games at home, and somehow managed one on the road, but they beat a team that has only lost at home once all season, twice, in the playoffs. Pretty sure their only home loss was GS, right? Looking at it I really thought they won 70 games too. Guess not Quote

What scrubs  They are, however, the only team remaining (or, well, before tonight they were remaining) to have beaten Golden State this season. I'll say this: OKC in any normal season would look like a championship front runner, they just happened to have a great year when the Warriors and Spurs were out of this world good. Gonna be really interesting to see if they give Golden State a run, or if they look completely overwhelmed against them like in the regular season. Quote
