It can't repair the same until the grass has regrown. Pro greens are super smooth and predictable. The areas he damaged won't play the same as the rest of the green until a full repair including regrowth has occurred. It definitely changes how that spot plays. It has the potential to affect someone's score. He definitely earned that DQ. Must have been one helluva meltdown. Quote
