shrader Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Bummer that didn't happen a year or 2 earlier. Would have been nice to have a short drive to watch Schraeder and McQuaid win state championships. Oh, well. Next year. :) I have never won a state championship, but if I had, it would have been much longer than two years ago. Quote

LGR4GM Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 The Marriott at Harbor Center opens tonight. Quote
darksabre Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 That looks great. Might have to book a room later this winter for a little day trip. I have one complaint about the HarborCenter. The bathrooms are never really clean enough on the arena level. I expect the locker rooms to be a little less n span but the main bathrooms just seem like they don't get enough attention. My standards are quite high for this crown jewel of Hockey Heaven. Seriously, I can't say sp*c? It's a friggen cleaning product I can buy at walmart :wallbash: Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 Nice...but is it good enough for Tom Brady's dad? Quote
ubkev Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 Why is Stevie Wonder the main consultant for hotel carpets? Quote
Drunkard Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 Why is Stevie Wonder the main consultant for hotel carpets? A design like that saves on cleaning and replacement costs over time. You could spill an entire bottle of cocktail sauce or knock a gravy boat over and nobody would even know. Quote
LabattBlue Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 (edited) Getting out of the harbor center ramp on non arena event days is a joke. They have a self checkout(no booth if they wanted to have an attendant), and getting out of the ramp is always a cluster because either the machine is not working and/or people can't figure out how to insert ticket and then credit card. Tried contacting harbor center mgmt via their website about this issue...can't seem to be bothered to reply. Edited August 28, 2015 by LabattBlue Quote

I never have a problem coming or going. Quote
LabattBlue Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 Huh? There's a booth right where you exit onto Perry. I never have a problem coming or going. I'm exiting on on to Washington near 716 entrance. Didn't know there was an exit with an attendant. Quote
darksabre Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 I'm exiting on on to Washington near 716 entrance. Didn't know there was an exit with an attendant. You must only be parking on the lower level or something. I'm always up on 5 so when I come down the ramp I have no choice but to exit onto Perry. Quote
Eleven Posted August 29, 2015 Report Posted August 29, 2015 I always see an attendant on Perry, too. Quote
LGR4GM Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 Harbor Center had their ribbon cutting 100% operational ceremony today. Quote
Stoner Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 I feel bad for Smell, trying to zoom in on a low resolution image like that. Quote

shrader Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 Who is the guy at the end cutting air? And if smell had a pair of those giant scissors, he'd "accidentally" cut the red dress, wouldn't he? Quote

Stoner Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 Can I start a new sabrespace conspiracy claiming that he is actually blind? haha. It is an interesting photo to ponder. The Pegulas and Cliff are go-getters, so they had sliced through the tape and were back in the car before the political types had figured out how scissors work. Has anyone really studied how the tape was cut? I find it hard to believe Cliff (of all people) would be left to stand there and pretend to cut the tape. But where did he cut the tape? Jeez, this is maddening. I look forward to any and all theories. Quote
