They close Delaware Avenue for a marathon every year, but we certainly need that.

Not a fan of the Skyway, personally, but the logic wasn't too strong with that one!

That looks like a great ride.

And there's a beer tent and food trucks after! Whoop whoop!

Also coming this summer is http://www.wnytours.com/tourinformation

They provide the bike, helmet and tour guides for a historic trip around Buffalo.

I wonder if the main FNC sign on the arena is going to be redone so that as you walk towards the arena on Washington you can see the entire sign again? With HarborCenter construction, most of the sign is now blocked.

I read a quote a while back from Koemel that it is definitely being looked at and they are looking at their options for sign placement to fix it.

It's about the same size and shape as the Bank One building in downtown Fort Worth. It was hit by a tornado in 2000, resulting in loss of almost all the glass on two sides of the building and a measurable twist in the building's structure. Thanks to asbestos used in the construction, implosion was not feasible. Bank One (now owned by Chase) built a new building a block or two over and abandoned the tower. It sat vacant for about 5 years until Fort Worth's version of TPegs bought it and remodeled the whole thing into residential. The plan was to sell some as condos and rent out the rest. In the end the whole thing went condo and is some of the most expensive real estate in the city.

If Pegula buys this building, good things will certainly ensue.

Knock it on its side, and voila, the Bills have their indoor stadium.

The new Rockpile?

"Hey, Ted. Anybody ever try to build vertical hockey rinks? Look into that for me."
