I don't know how much Hanks knows about football, but at least he knows it should be played on grass ...

And, of course, Blatter is being an idiot. Imagine the future of FIFA major tournaments is in artificial turf. Is nothing sacred?

I agree, There is nothing like playing on real grass. I see these artificial turfs popping everywhere, and simply put they suck.

Watched a Barcelona game for the first time. Holy ###### they are good.

Yeah i can't respect that team much though, debt of 800 million euro , same goes for Real madrid.

And both had similar debts basically swiped away by the state. ( If they are really unlucky Europe will make them give it all back to) wich i hope ;D

Oh, and FIFA has been given a report that sights 3 separate and distinct cases of corruption in the bidding process for WC 2018 and WC 2022. No kidding. Don't worry it will all be swept under the carpet.

Also, noticed that Platini will not be running against Sepp for FIFA don. No kidding. Just bidding his time.

ah yeah bosnia is in our group, our game against Israel got postponed though.

Really ticks me off that Israel even is in the european system, its not part of europe, and forcing them in the asian zone would atleast make them get along better with the arabs :P

There are a couple of other Asian teams in UEFA; never made sense to me. Turkey? Kazakhstan? Not in Europe.

Actually turkey is partially in Europe, kazakhstan to. Here is a map on wikipedia wich seems quite accurate.

Yeah, I know that each of those countries has a tiny European bit. But if I dip my toe in the water, I'm still dry, you know?

Turkey I'll buy; they've been Europeanish since the Roman Empire. Kazakhstan though...?Maybe because they were part of the USSR, but that place is Asia all the way.

A late goal to earn the draw is a good result for Man City against Chelsea ...

Although, City was home for this match.

City started slowly last season, if I recall correctly, and we all know how the EPL table ended up at the end ... :flirt:
