TrueBlueGED Posted May 30, 2012 Report Posted May 30, 2012 But he's Russian! (and yes, I know his background) Did he ever actually come back at any point this year? Yea, he played a handful of games at the end. I don't believe he did a whole lot when coming back, but that's to be expected after missing almost a full season with a torn ACL. I think the big question is whether he'll be ready to jump right into the NHL or will need another year in juniors to get his game back. I'm not worried at all about the health of the knee, but losing a year of development at 18 might matter. I want him regardless, even if it means we have to wait a year to see him (on that note, if we had both Armia and Galchenyuk coming in 2013 that could be awfully exciting).
Wilbur Posted May 30, 2012 Report Posted May 30, 2012 Unless that opinion is just an internet persona at play, then no, it really doesn't take any balls at all. And frankly. both sides here attack and belittle the other side's opinion, so I guess everybody has balls because no matter what they'll be attacked by somebody. FTR I have no balls.
carpandean Posted May 30, 2012 Report Posted May 30, 2012 Did he ever actually come back at any point this year? Looks like 2 regular season and 6 playoff games. Playoff performance wasn't too bad (2G, 2A).
carpandean Posted May 30, 2012 Report Posted May 30, 2012 FTR I have no balls. TrueBluePhD and the other stats folks may find this line amusing in an unintended way.
