Flogging Molly at The Main Street Armory in Rochester, May 25th. Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band at the Tralf, June 26th. Other than that, I got nuthin.

Wow, I'd hit those shows in a heartbeat if I was nearby. I've seen both (Reverend Peyton *opening* for FM, actually), and they're fantastic.

I got nothing planned. I only have a few friends that still do shows regularily so it's fallen off my radar. I have a friend locally that plays so I've been to a few of their shows lately. I saw "the Motet" on a whim a few weeks ago. Kinda of a new Motown-style/funk act, they happened to cover a lot of Grateful Dead at this show. A lot of fun, although the 10 minute jam-solos got to be a bit much after awhile.

Here is a link to a clip from the SP show I went to, you can even see my fat head in the middle wearing the gold Sabres hat. This is the one man guitar/drum solo from Satchel, including nods to Deep Purple, Sabbath, Judas Priest, Ozzy, GnR, Metallica, and I think I heard some Maiden in there too. There are plenty of other clips up on youtube of some songs from this show, but being Steel Panther those are NSFW. This one is.

Darien Lake- Slipknot/Slayer/Motorhead/Anthrax This is the show my kid is bugging me about. Yeah, we're gonna go. I've never seen Motorhead or Slayer in concert so I'm looking forward to it. I'm sure my ears will be bleeding by the time the show ends. And 3 out of 4 of those bands are up my alley.

There is a good chance I'll be attending this show in Buffalo and will likely catch it in DC the Sunday before as well. Slayer has been my favorite band since I was in middle school so I try to catch them whenever they tour the US. I also love Anthrax. I really liked Slipknot after their first 2 albums but after that turd of a 3rd albumn with the ballads on it I stopped buying their music. I would hope that they'd stay away from their ###### stuff given the lineup they'll be playing with though.

Hittin up Blink 182 at blue cross this coming tuesday, other than that not much planned as of yet, I'm more of a spur of the moment concert guy myself unless its someone i've wanted to see for a while.

Definitely a rock n Roll enthusiast at heart but i picked up a mixing table for my laptop about a year ago and have really started getting into the electronic / house scene as well, so i wouldn't mind seeing some shows like that.

What the Blink 182 lady looks like today...

Got back from Bonnaroo earlier. I got to see RHCP, the Roots, Flogging Molly, City and Colour, Radiohead, the Kooks, Fitz and the Tantrums, Skrillex, and Fun. It was amazing, but after being awake so long I just need to sleep.

There was nothing like it and I almost feel guilty seeing Further without the big man. What I wouldn't do for just one more show....
