Eric William Richardson Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 I think Rick Nash would be a great addition to the Sabres orginization. We all know that it will take alot to get him, but we all know the Sabres are well equipted to make such a move. They have players such as Derek Roy and Thomas Vanek that are moveable along with other less valuable but productive players. The Sabres have two first round picks and two second round picks in this years draft. I am not saying to sell the future of the team by giving up everything for one player, but I feel that we need more offense not just some rookies that may or may not eventually work out. Our defense will be fine when the injuries are not an issue. Looks like they are set on Miller at least for one more season so wont need to look at anyone at that position. If not Kevin Nash what player(s) do you see improving our team and which players currently on our team should be used at options in a trade.

apuszczalowski Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Who is Kevin Nash? The Pro Wrestler? I think he is a little past his prime and way to old for the NHL, He is in much better shape then his old pal Scott Hall though
NNYSABRESMAN Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 How about Graham Nash then Stafford really could get his mind off hockey by playing folk festivals all summer and smoking dope with a legend
inkman Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Coco B. Ware to the Sabres in a package deal.

IKnowPhysics Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 John Nash would calculate the perfect strategy.

I'd give those top four picks to Columbus for Rick Nash in a heartbeat.
X. Benedict Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Hacksaw Jim Duggan to the Sabres! (e5) We need old time Hockey, like Bruno Sanmartino, or Bob Backlund.
darksabre Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 We need old time Hockey, like Bruno Sanmartino, or Bob Backlund. Does this make Pat Kaleta our Rowdy Roddy?
IKnowPhysics Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Does this make Pat Kaleta our Rowdy Roddy? Only if he stars in a remake of They Live.
darksabre Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Only if he stars in a remake of They Live. The Matrix was such a ripoff.
rbochan Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 crosby, stills, and nash? Not without Young.
Guest Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 I'll take Steve Nash, we could use a good assist guy.
deluca67 Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 We need old time Hockey, like Bruno Sanmartino, or Bob Backlund. Bruno Sammartino, Domenic DiNucci and Tony Parisi would make one hell of a line.
millbank Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Got to believe Buffalo will be amongst teams who will quickly call and see what it would take . Moving Roy and Vanek for such a player likely one of those moves good for all players involved. This will be a interesting off season given the difficulties in playoffs of both Pittsburgh and Vancouver, and the talented mess that is Washington, there will be some interesting possibilities.
SwampD Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Only if he stars in a remake of They Live. Great movie. The Matrix was such a ripoff. Wow,... that was like taking the red pill.
obstructedorangeseats Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Nash Bridges would be an excellent addition. Proven leadership, and plays with a bit of an edge. But Cheech Marin would have to be included or no deal. That's just how it has to be, Bubba.

Gotta find a way to unload her first.
Iron Crotch Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Any Nash not named Pluto would be fine by me.
billsrcursed Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Coco B. Ware to the Sabres in a package deal. Throw in Junk Yard Dog and we got a deal... *is that dude even still alive?* EDIT - So after posting this I dug around, and found sadness. How tragic... Loved him when I was a kid.
bunomatic Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 LMFAO this entire thread. Hilarious. Welcome to the board Eric. Its Rick not Kevin but I'm sure you've figured that out by now. Typos in Sabrespace often morph into insanity.
