shrader Posted April 24, 2012 Report Posted April 24, 2012 My Senator fan roommate was hilarious at the end of the game last night. He was going off on how Neil didn't spear Lundqvist out of the net intentionally (he's a goalie too, so he should get it). At least he was willing to admit that the intent didn't matter one bit and it shouldn't have been a goal. Still, that was kind of funny to watch, especially how Lundqvist was still mad at the ref while his team was coming out to congratulate him after the final buzzer.

That was a pretty bad job by the officials. I do, however, find it amusing whenever a Ranger fan, player (Lundqvist last night), or coach claims some anti-ranger conspiracy. Yes I'm sure the NHL doesn't want its largest media market in the playoffs, especially given the amount of secondary markets winning in the first round

The one where he said that Niels hit was the same as Torres and he expects a similar punishment?

Another bad penalty call caused by the oversensitive hysteria around protecting goalies. A call made worse by the Rangers capitalizing on the gift power-play. The focus should be on letting the players decide the out come of games not the cries of outside influences.
Huckleberry Posted April 24, 2012 Report Posted April 24, 2012 well the West pretty much is an upset , don't think many gave those teams a winning chance. spndnchz Posted April 24, 2012 Report Posted April 24, 2012 No Theodore for Florida. Third string Markstrom to backup Clemmensen.

It's always hilarious. I saw a good one yesterday saying that the NHL was trying to screw over Phoenix with the Torres suspension. So let me get this straight. The NHL wants to screw over the team that it owns and is trying to sell? That sounds reasonable.
dEnnis the Menace Posted April 24, 2012 Report Posted April 24, 2012 Still, go Panthers! It's going to be an uphill climb for them now. In regards to the conspiracy theories: I absolutely love 'em. They make me laugh every time.

LastPommerFan Posted April 24, 2012 Report Posted April 24, 2012 I hear the Panthers buried a rat under center ice at the Prudential center. I have no doubt that there are rats encased in the cement under the Prudential Center. But they're probable more the Frank Calabrese, Jr type.
wjag Posted April 24, 2012 Report Posted April 24, 2012 I'm happy the Sens lost last night. Not a Rangers fans, but like the Sens less...
cdexchange Posted April 24, 2012 Report Posted April 24, 2012 I'm happy the Sens lost last night. Not a Rangers fans, but like the Sens less... I'm just happy to watch a Game 7, regardless of who is playing
rbochan Posted April 24, 2012 Report Posted April 24, 2012 I hear the Panthers buried a rat under center ice at the Prudential center. There's plenty of them living there already.

Eleven Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 Beat me to it. Don't feel too bad about it. He beat Brodeur to it, too. I see NBCS hired the best John Gurtler impersonator available for tonight's game.
