Punch Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 Oh. Nevermind, then. What, you don't want to witness the highly anticipated and much celebrated return of Matty Ellis and Brad Boyes to the 4th line?
Claude_Verret Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 I am going to watch it. I've seen all 81 this season and I am going to watch game 82 as well. We win together, we lose together. This is impressive. How many people here can honestly say they watched every single game this year? Not many I'll bet. Even with tivo there were plenty of games I skipped due to other committments or the games just being plain unwatchable.
BuffalOhio Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 If I'm still in the hospital tomorrow, I'll be watching. Otherwise I'll be watching at home. Had the wife bring me the laptop last night so I could use the slingbox. Had a great connection, no issues at all with the broadcast. Losing sucked, but last night wasn't their problem. Injuries to key players (Ennis, Miller, Myers, and Ehrhoff) and that road losing streak is what killed them. I'm anxious to see what they do with the $$ they won't be spending on Boyes and Hecht. Three good players, two really good players, or one awesome player? I'm in for a staph infection in my ankle that has been bothering me for months. It finally got bad enough that I needed IV antibiotics. The Sabres' season ended on the same day mine did! This is impressive. How many people here can honestly say they watched every single game this year? Not many I'll bet. Even with tivo there were plenty of games I skipped due to other committments or the games just being plain unwatchable. I don't think I missed any. If I did, it was only one or two.

Best day of my life. :)
BuffalOhio Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 New skates last year rubbed on the ankle bone and caused a callus that opened. Some insidious germs got inside and I've been battling ever since. I spray alcohol inside my skates before I put them in my bag every time I skate. No more rink showers for me, either. Screw that!
shrader Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 I'm anxious to see what they do with the $$ they won't be spending on Boyes and Hecht. Three good players, two really good players, or one awesome player? That money's going to the Tylers.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 That money's going to the Tylers. Tyler Myers is already signed, some of the money will be going to Ennis
Punch Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 Tyler Myers is already signed, some of the money will be going to Ennis Myers' raise doesn't go into effect until next season, though--- a $4.2mil/year raise in cap number.
spndnchz Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 Get the GDT going now! This thread IS the GDT. In memorium: GDT Sabres at Bruins
Claude_Verret Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 I don't think I missed any. If I did, it was only one or two. Even with a staph infection, VERY impressive!!! Get well, MRSA is no joke for sure.
Randall Flagg Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 I will watch it, simply for the fact that it is the last time to see the team I will always root for until October. Go sabres, I'll miss you this summer!
MattPie Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 This game gets the same priority all the games get: Family, friends, motorcycle, hockey. If I'm somewhere convenient I'll watch. :)
spndnchz Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 aaaannndddddd pinned. 'cause wtf cares anymore.
MattPie Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 aaaannndddddd pinned. 'cause wtf cares anymore. If the Sabres lose this game, it's all on your head! :) Nice Avatar.
spndnchz Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 Do we get to see Ellis and Hecht in Boston? I heard Ellis is in. Boyes will be out of the pressbox.
bunomatic Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 Rah rah rah. Unfortunately I'll miss this one as I'll be travelling. I'm kind of burnt out with the emotional roller coaster this season has been with its ups and downs and ups again only to be let down in the end once again. I'll get over it and get sucked right back in again next year. Maybe my hope tank will be full again by then. One last time for this team. GO SABRES !
Doohicksie Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 They really need this if they want ANY chance of the playoffs. Yeah, yeah... I know.
TrueBlueGED Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 I'll miss the first period and a little more because of work, but I'll be watching after that getting dinner and whatnot. 4pm game, not like I'd be doing anything else.
Weave Posted April 7, 2012 Author Report Posted April 7, 2012 Well, waddaya know? I get to start a game day thread without even trying. :P Ready........ set......... RUN FOR THE BUS !!!!!!
Randall Flagg Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 What is the over/under for pages of this thread by Sunday morning?
